Well, even though I don't care about the character of Deadpool, I did enjoy his movie more than I did Force Awakens. That's not to say it was a better movie, but I liked it more. Maybe because it wasn't a disguised remake. :lol

I think I was still cracking up at Deadpool's reaction when he realized Axel had gotten away when the X-Men confronted him.

And to the people who say they are sick of superhero movies, are you not going to see batman vs superman. Cap vs Iron Man? Because if the genre is starting to hit a slump, and the numbers imply otherwise, I think those films will reinvigorate it. Look at how even Ant Man was received. Guardians? People seem to be clamoring for Guardians 2. Dr Strange is going to be a different kind of marvel film which will likely be a hit since marvel excels at their origin stories--but it's different enough to feel fresh. Black Panther is a great character being portrayed by a wonderful actor...that should be a very strong movie. Everything leading up to Thanos? This genre will be going for a while.

Well I'm not watching black panther, I'll skip the next Thor. I don't care about wonder woman. I probably won't care about another iron man.

I don't know how anyone could not want to see Black Panther lol he's such a kick ass character and I think they casted him perfectly and marvel is generally really good with their origin films

Yeah, that perplexes me as well. I get not wanting to see the next super-hero movie like Cyborg, Flash or Ant-Man but Black Panther? Dude's one of the most badass, unique and interesting characters in all of comicdom. He's a genius King from the most advanced country on Earth which is located in Africa. If that ain't original as far as comics go, I don't know what is. Besides, his movie is probably going to be more political than a straight up super-hero story. That's what his books usually deal with anyway. It's all subjective though, so maybe someone doesn't like the character, that's understandable. Personally, I've watched all cbms I could on the big screen and will continue to do so. It's kinda like a "custom" or "obligation" at this point.

If most of the movie is in Africa (like an origin) then I might watch it ( from the avengers cartoon movies what I liked best was the flashbacks to his dad

If the movie I in America I'll definitely skip it.

Nah, it'll probably be set in Africa for 90% of the movie. If they set it in America it'll be a major mistake and it'll anger lots of folks (and rightfully so). The Black Panther is a very important character in comic book history, and if you don't respect his roots and set him in NY like every other hero, well, you're ruining him. You've probably seen the "animated movie" or the Ultimate Avengers DVD, right? If so, I'll reserve judgement because these movies plain sucked. If you're willing to give it a go, I'd say try the new vol which is starting this April. It'll be written by Ta-Nehisi Coates who's an accomplished book author (it's his first time writing a comic), and the title will be purely political, dealing with a revolution in Wakanda.

watched it in imax last week, enjoyed it. it wasn't as funny as it could've been but still quite a number of hilarious gags. loved the fourth wall stuff and the action, as limited as it was, was handled well. the best parts are still his interactions with colossus and negasonic teenage warhead. there's a review that's sold as written by deadpool himself, found it pretty funny...
