Well, if you own a business, you can get a tax credit for buying an SUV. :lol
gah, this stuff is so complicated. that guy on the internet was no help at all.
i think i'm better off with the credibility counseling . maybe i can declare credibility bankruptcy and get the credibility collection agency off my back.

It's funny how prefused is dragging out my credibility comment because he's got nothing else to contribute. If this thread did nothing to expose him as a troll, it definitely exposed him as a stand up comedian. Maybe once he gets his credibility back on track, he go out on tour. I was wrong, its not a credibility issue. It's an issue of discerning tastes. It's just funny that you changed the subject because of your inability to defend your position. Please allow me to get back on topic. Yes, there is a demand for these HT USCM figures because they are awesome and for people who got in early and got these for a good price, they were well worth it and are still the definitive ALIENS USCM figures. The detailing in the clothing and accessories is second to none but the headsculpt leaves much to be desired. If you were so inclined, you could have one of the many talented artists on this board help you make improvements to it because this is a hobby and customising is part of it. Most people don't call that polishing a turd because that's an insult to the hobby. If you missed out and are bitter and feel envious, you may hijack a thread and try to railroad it off topic. You are entitled to your opinion, even if you lack credibility because the two are mutually exclusive (rolls eyes) but once you start slinging insulting language about a beloved collectible in a thread dedicated to that collectible, well, people are going to question your position.

Yup, sold 2 at the 1k mark and 2 more for around $800 or so.

not a bad profit when i bought all 4 at retail.

Lucky timing, and that is quite an impressive haul. I had four but sold one to Maul Fan for what I paid for it, plus shipping. The other three are not for sale.

Get this thread back on topic or it'll be closed.
i think that's the point.
maybe you should close every thread that's stared just to ______ about market prices.
they always end up as flame wars between scalpers and collectards. every single time.
i think they're pretty entertaining, but clearly, you see it differently.

why would i want to "defend my position" when i can have way more fun mocking your imaginary ability to dole out or destroy the credibility of opinions on the internet?

and i agree. it IS funny.

did IQ's just drop sharply while i was away? i already said i've had the damn figures.
you're kidding yourself by claiming i'm "envious" of you for having different collectible standards.
this thread isn't "dedicated to the collectible". it's dedicated to starting flame wars.
there are already a couple threads dedicated to ht marines and i haven't posted once in either of them.

now, i have to go because the credibility collection agency just showed up to repossess all of my mcfarlane figures that i totally didn't get rid of like 5 years ago.

Well the point of this site is to have healthy discussions about collecting, it doesn't support feuds filled with personal insults and attacks, which is where this thread has gone, and you're right, it's not likely to clean up, so closed.
