nah. i'm not gonna sell off some cool figures just to fund the polishing of that turd.
like i said earlier. there are too many nicer collectibles around for that price.

I agree about the need for a good Hudson sculpt. I've yet to see a definitive Hudson sculpt by anyone. Hopefully that won't be for too much longer, tho.

am i the only one who found that character to be annoying? i was so glad when he got killed.
what i really wanted to see was a Bishop figure. i think he was my favorite thing about that entire movie.
then again, it probably wouldn't have had the likeness so what's the point.

Do you own any high end collectibles? I don't mean that in a condescending way but if you do, those HT Marines stack up favorably to any high end 1/6 fig in every way save the head sculpt which was do to licensing and the limitations of the time. Those figures kick a**. but you're entitled to your opinion.

You can't buy credibility with SSC points any more than you can buy good taste in collectibles.

They still go for a fair price on eBay, though Hicks doesn't go for as much nowadays as I've seen him go for in the past ($500+). Though not related to value, they are woefully unimpressive compared with current Hot Toys efforts. That is a license that should be revisited, IMO.

I agree. Iv just got into 12" collecting just after Xmas and got Macus/John and a t600 and decided to have a peak at the Alien line. After looking at a few pictures I decided not to

There's a possibility. They redid the BB suit for TDK. I'd by the DX marine if it came out but right now, these guys are the definitive USCM.

I think I paid like $80 for mine. At the time, these figures were state of the art and the clothing and accessories are still top notch. So for what I paid for it and the quality of the time, it was a good deal.

Yup, sold 2 at the 1k mark and 2 more for around $800 or so.

not a bad profit when i bought all 4 at retail.

ok, so how can my credibility be declared as DESTROYED by some guy on the internet if he thinks i didn't have any beforehand?
i've been using my credibility card to pay down my good taste loans, so now i'll have to start over on those.
i hope the ssc gift cards can carry through until i get my credibility score back up.

No disrespect intended to anyone but for those who missed out and are spewing they have to pay $500 a figure now because they didnt get one when they came out and just want them re-released so they can hopefully get them at a reasonable price TOO BAD you missed out.
If you dont like the figures then sell them to the people on here that do want them regardless of the flaws.It seems to me the real fans who appreciate what is available snapped these up regardless and are still pleased with their collection and probably steer clear of this thread.
