As far as I know you can migrate your 360 account to xboxone but you cannot play one account on both.
It's a brilliant game for quite a while. I still play a bit, it can get tedious when you get to 31-32 on three characters though.

Okay. I was just hoping to be able to play a bit at work, do some legwork, and then go home and pretty much continue where i left off.
If i can't, that's no problem.

I enjoy repetition in games.
And of course i have started as a Titan, but i am looking forward to seeing what it's like as the other classes.
I love the idea of being able to summon your mode of transport. That would be handy, lol.

Yeah, you should start and play 3 characters at the same time if you can, you can cross pollinate the items you get in the game and upgrade them faster. Warlocks are great fun to play and they can self resurrect after death which is super usefull. Hunters are good for invisibility, but they can't jump.

Ahhhh. That never occurred to me. Will each separate class unlock items that help the other classes?
I just got Venus unlocked to me after dealing with the shard of the Traveller in the lair of the Hive on the moon. No idea how far along in the game that means i am, but i will add the other two and get going from there.

Once you get to level 20 you open up a lot of content that all 3 characters can do, multiplying your goodies x3 every week. And yes, one character will get drops for the others. I loved that part of the game!

That's great to know. I started with Titan, obviously. What's good to go with next?
And will my new character(s) be back at the beginning as regards having to re-tread earlier missions?

Warlock is fun, they all are. You have to start again on each character although you fly through it once you've done it already. And you can share your weapons etc with your other characters so they upgrade much faster.

I love that rifle with the three round burst. I also like the Primary/Secondary/Heavy splitting of the ammo. No "Halo-like" having to dump a weapon because you have run out of ammo.
I'm looking forward to giving the other classes a go.

Well, the good news is, my brothers and sisters, that it does port over. Asda has Destiny for £19, both formats, so i picked up an Xbox 360 copy today. I popped into my office at work and loaded it up. After logging into my gamertag, i started the game right where i had left off on my Xbox One.
And again, when i came home, i was where i had left it off on the 360.
It's certainly a handy feature.
Although obviously, the graphics are far superior on the One, lol.
Oh, and i have nearly done all the earth based missions with my Warlock.
It's a slightly different dynamic. Thanks for the advice Rory!

I actually forgot this game existed.....that can't be a good sign
I got to level 18 and didn't even complete the 'storyline' ....I just figure I'll pick it up again in 2+ years time IF I hear about things dramatically improving.

Maybe it's just that i am coming into this with no expectations, but i am quite liking it.
I didn't think it was going to be the best thing ever. But it's not too bad. I've played worse.

It's an amazing game. Be careful though it's highly addictive, I mean really. The random reward system has been designed to keep you playing. Once you finish the story levels it all becomes about getting these admittedly amazing guns and armour which allow you to obliterate the bad guys. I've been playing since the alpha test last January, it's hard to kick the habit.

Yeah, I would imagine there has been a massive drop in players worldwide. The repetitive grind and zero story progression killed it, until the sequel anyway. I still love the design and music though.

I'm hooked already and it's just been a week.
I am not interested in online play though. Just playing through the missions and side quests. My warlock is up to the level 9 my Titan was at before I switched to a new class, so I reckon today will be the day I try the third class.
I wish there was a way to keep that Sword Of Crota, lol.

Multiplayer is great fun for the Strikes etc. as long as it's the game matchmaking them and you don't have to communicate with them.
I'm the same though about the other online stuff.

I started soloing the nightfalls a couple of months back,since I did I've gotten 2 hawk moons, Ghorn, 2 icebreakers, and several other exotics.
I know it's not supposed to make a difference but it's bizarre.

Have you played the Borderlands series? ....similar loot concepts but so much better and more fun.

I dunno. I loved Borderlands and bought the Jack collection for Ps4. Played it for awhile and after a month I was craving Destiny's better mechanics and system. I understand that it doesn't appeal to you or some people but for a lot of people I know is addicting for all the right reasons. So stoked for House of Wolves!!
