Might give me a reason to watch Housewives again - I really liked the first season, but haven't cared since then.

i'm revisiting dexter via netflix starting with season one. man has this show evolved. julie benz definitely got hotter as the show went on...:naughty

Pretty sure she didn't have anything to do with it. The creative staff just wanted to kill her off.

From what I've read, they only took that decision when they were about mid-season writings.
That's something I've always found weird! They write things as they go along and it works. You should think the'd need at least a rough plot to work it out!

No offense to Julie Benz as a actor, but the Rita character become more and more annoying as the season went on, so her death came as somewhat of a relief to me. I wouldn't shed a tear if they decided to write out the Deb character as well, to be honest.

Yeah, to me that's where they kinda dropped the ball on her character. If they would've kept her as she was in the first season, her death would've had a much bigger impact on people. They turned her into such a high-maintanence nagging desperate housewife, that people actually wanted Dexter himself to chop her up. :lol

I just got done watching Gamer and it was impossible for me to imagine Michael C. Hall actually being in that role. I kept waiting to hear that familiar inner narration. Strange.

Yeah, Hall will forever be Dexter to me. Have any of you guys seen that Dodge commercial where he does the voice over? Really weird to me. His voice over is great for Dexter's narration, but he doesn't really have a voice for a commercial narrator.

:lol

It's the same for me while watching Six Feet Under.

Agreed. Especially when he went into that soft shoe song-and-dance routine while his goons tried to take down Gerard Butler. Surreal. :google
