"Lucas, a Hollywood icon known for exercising control over the most minute details of the fictional universe he created, will remain as a creative consultant."

Uh, sorry George, before we get started, a list for you to look over:

1) no more impossibly tiny-winged aliens that enjoy the miracle of flight.

2) no more Rastafied, long-limbed, horse-faced idiots.

3) Darth Vader doesn't say NOOooooooo'

4) etc etc

...and uh, go get us a coffee wouldja George?

LOL! No doubt!

...oh, and some good guys shoot first! :D

There have been a million fan-wanks at what episode 7 would've been. Disney is beholden to nothing. They'll make the movie their way.

Disney needs to find away to turn the Old Republic/Revan saga into a trilogy.
That'd be a cash cow.

Lets hope they don't just write off the entire eu.
If they are looking for lots of projects lets have animated thrawn trilogy and seven etc set in a different time period.
Maybe far in the future. I wonder if this is anything to do with the new Star Wars dark horse comic set after 4 and the cancelling of the legacy comic?
