Well, back to work tomorrow. I should have 10 or 4 waiting for me. Once I confirm delivery, my dad will forward the second one.
Looking forward to the 10 in particular as I have a display planned in advance.
Back to BC in general.
The website needs to be up and running ASAP, and be primary source of data. A web site is easy to prep and maintain. I know that the financial tie ins are complex, but doable through companies or individuals with experience in setting up such engines. Not that I'm touting for business!!
Anyway, I'd like to see their site being more dynamic, and have active updates and an on board forum. Then, they would be able to gauge more directly what they should produce and the numbers of the production runs.

I know websites can be a real pain, especially with e-commerce tie-ins. But I really don't think they need a forum - they respond here and Facebook, aren't we good enough for you, eh?

Agreed. I don't think BC has enough product to need their own forum. A couple threads on SSF is all we need to praise Tennant and bash the Pond sculpt! ;)

Haha! This forum works for me. It's just, I've been dabbling with forum structures in web sites recently.
The e-commerce thing can be a pain though, specifically with all the security set ups that need to be in place. Anyway... Back to this year ..
I'd like a lot, but I know BC don't work very quickly through releases. I'm happy to see the First, but that's not till June/July at the earliest. So I'd expect one one (being realistic) towards the end of the year. It would make sense to do 9th.

The worst thing about the website going down is that we're bang in the middle of ten days of 'entertainment support' for Sherlock - the time when the profile of the series is at the highest its been for two years or will be for two years. And the website is down!

As for another 11, they have to get it up for preorder before the end of August when the next series starts with Capaldi.

Personally im down for a Eccelstone, Capaldi, McGann, and possibly Smith if they release a better version of him.

bbc shared the 12th doc outfit. get on with it BCS! a preorder for a 12th fig when the new eps begin would be very cool.

They need to get Capaldi down for preorder soon. The track record of preorder to in hand time frame is such that he'll be gone before we see the figure!
Haha!
No, seriously, this has to be the next figure. BCS should always aim to have the current Doctor in work. CO have already got their tiny version ready already.
I'm in for a preorder and i get a feeling it won't be long before it's up.

I think the next figures going up for preorder should be the ones that have already been announced, 1st and another 11th. A figure of 12th can wait until some episodes of S8 have aired. I don't understand why people are so eager to put down a deposit for a figure of a character that they haven't even seen in action yet for long enough to know if they even like him.

I want to see BCS create the weathered leather UBoat jacket and the 9th Doctor.

I think Capaldi is the smart choice for the next figure, that's where the excitement is. If you can't sell out Tom Baker, might be a good idea to steer clear of classic Docs.

He needs a tie or....something. A scarf? A hat? A scarf and a hat? A metal dog? A watch chain? A waistcoat that's a different color than the outer coat?

I actually don't think he needs anything else. The cosplayers might be sad, but to be honest I don't think the Doctors need a quirky "thing." I like that they are getting back to him wearing more normal clothes, but with a SLIGHT twist. I think it worked for the 9th Doctor. I think the red lining and his face are enough, personally. :)
