Man this week gets better and better, "Amy's Choice" was the best modern episode since the very first series in 2005, a live Doctor Who show is announced and it's coming to my nearest city, Underground Toys sign a deal to keep bringing out more exclusive figures until 2013 which would indicate a continuation of CO's Classic line and not 1, but 2 amazing sculpts of the Trout are taking shape thanks to Sean.

I'm so happy I could say something nice about the person in my sig..........................but I'm not going to :)

BTW I'll send you the cash for the cast of Tom's hat in the next day or so. I've been a bit busy this week sorting out various birthday related things for my niece who's 13 today.

You guys didn't play "Pin the tail on the Tennant", did you? :slap[/QUOTE]

Yep, we also did "Pin the paper bag over the ugly companions face" and a fishing game where the Piper fish scored the highest points :)

Any chance of other Doctors being offered, I'm dying for a 5th and I'd love an 8th. I've really been getting into the radio dramas. The 8th really needs to guest star on the new series with Lucy. Also wouldn't mind 1st and 7th.

The audio dramas ARE great!

I know this takes long, man. And it really feels like it shouldn't (although Sean really broke the speed barrier with this one---two heads in a week and a half!). :yess:

I try to keep as many balls juggling in the air as I am able to find the talent to do them because it generally takes so long. This year in particularly the pool has really expanded for us. Sean and Nek74 were amazing finds.

We all love Who but all have different specific interests. For my plans with the artists I approach, I'm working on this Troughton INVASION era themed set first (Second Doc, Jamie, Zoe, maybe Tobias Vaughn if enough interest), hopefully with Sean, cause it's the main thing I've really wanted to get from 1:6 Who since I tried started this three years back. I have been psychotic for a Jamie.

The next era afterwards (cause I like era sets), whichever sculptor I am able to get for it, I would want to tackle would be Davison. Definitely a Nyssa in there because she's my fav companion, and an Ainley if he hasn't been made by then. Up to you guys who else from that era we'd mine. The big problem there is Davisons difficult costume. Billy and I have been talking about when the time comes for him to try and offer his costume for us. :hi5:.

The last era I personally want to mine is more Tom. We need a S18 Tom and Romana II. I've already got the K-9 commission rolling (and Nek is aching to finish up his "Supernatural" heads so he can start him).

Then you know, we have the Revenge Cybers coming... some day, :impatient:

A lot of that depends on someone else not making any of those projects first. Mr. Barlow and BillyB obviously also make heads and you never know who they might decide to focus on next, particularly Barlow who has so many of the Doctors just sitting around begging to be released.

Which brings me to a friendly bit of encouragement. Don't want to wait for a McCoy to come out? Are your favorites not mine? I want things so I seek out the talent to make them. I did three with Ada, these two Trouts here with Sean, the Revenge Cybs, K-9. Seek out your own talent and get some Who projects started on your own!

I've posted names in the past of sculptors who who could be contacted to make Daleks and other things and no one took it upon themselves to try and get anything else going.

I can always be PMed for help if you don't quite know what to do.
I LOVE how our community pulls together for projects like the clothes coordination and stuff. We should have many more projects going in my opinion (but I realize good talent isn't a dime-a-dozen either. We got VERY, VERY lucky with Sean!)

See my issue is I have the costume, made it myself, but need the Davison head to complete it. It was actually easier than I thought it would be. The coat was easily modified from a triad trench coat and the rest was from modified common ken outfits.

I hear ya. Hey, at least you know you've got a Davison happening eventually, either through Barlow or me. (laugh). There's nothing wrong with a few more sculptors making us heads on the board if you started a commission and found someone else to make it (hint hint hint).
