From the trailer description, the TARDIS with red light inside, that's how it was when it became the master turned it into a paradox machine correct?????

I think it has to do with the cloister bells. Weren't they red at the end of Turn Left... *runs to look on iTunes*

That's an intresting possible spoiler Rick and given how RTD likes to give most of his heroes slushy, family friendly endings I think it's entirely plausible.

Wasn't Martha already married before she ever met Mickey...

And I remember her saying her husband works in South Africa...

Not quite the parallel universe...

Unless things didn't work out between her and him...

Pulled from the Doctor Who Wiki

Ultimately, Martha appeared not take Jack's offer, as she was still with UNIT. He later tried to get in contact with her when during the 456 incident. She was on honeymoon with Tom Milligan. (TW: Children of Earth: Day One)

A piccie from today's filming of the Vampire story in Croatia (supposed to be Venice I guess) (note matt is wearing a blue shirt and blue polk-a-dat tie.. just like the Trout :rock)

If Matt Smith can in some way emulate even a glimmer of Pat's awesomeness then I'll be suprised, but pleased as it should be a Doctor worth watching.

However I'm still concerned that the new production team will adopt a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach and just carry on with the same style and themes as RTD instead of trying something different.

I have a feeling the new team will be going out of their way to be different from RTD, as evidenced by the new logo. I know that's kind of a trivial thing to base my statement on, but really, why change it? Combine that with new (head) writer, new music, new Doctor, I think it will be different enough. In fact, I fear it will be too different. But that's a risk you have to take when you roll with The Doctor.

I hope so because whilst I won't argue that RTD's vision of the show brought in lots of viewers I think that creatively he was done after 2 series and things became increasingly stale after that so IMO a shake up is long overdue.

I don't ask for much, just a Doctor that I won't dislike to the point where I'm cheering the bad guys, some good stories like "Dalek" or "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" and less focus on stuff like the companions families and no more pointless political correctness.

Why is showing respect for all types of people pointless?

I have no problem with them showing respect, but going out of their way to do so seems a bit stupid...as long as they aren't insulting or offending people, that's fine with me...

Also, I HATE THE NEW TARDIS!!!

The new style was one of the best things about RTD's series...

Just so we're clear, I mean the outside, not the inside...

I know I'm VERY late with this, but I just finished watching Children of Earth and I enjoyed it a lot. Poor Jack, I'm wondering if this is how he gets involved in EoT now that he took off.

Poor Jack

Immediately after COE, I felt quite the opposite. I thought Jack was a bastard and I wanted nothing to do with him. And I *LOVED* Jack. I went as him for Halloween and everything. But after CoE I really, really, really disliked him.

After a while I realized the sacrifice he made and felt bad for him, but still couldn't help but still feel he was a bastard for what he did. We'll see what happens, but I think carefree funny-man Jack is done. He's been through too much to keep up that facade.

CoE took me for a ride to television show has before. Phenomenal TV, if you ask me.

Torchwood: Children of Earth was one of the most phenomenal, emotional, gripping, edge-of-your-seat science fiction that I've ever seen. Fantastic television. I never buy TV series on dvd/blu ray normally, but I will be getting that I think. Wonderful stuff.
