I wished that this seasons worth of Who Specials had even come close to the Torchwood 'season' this year. They didnt....After this years lackluster specials, I am ready for a change. Just pissed that they are squandering Tenants time like they have.

I dunno I reallly really liked WoM and EoT looks to be awesome as well. A nice coda to Donna, Wilf, Doctor and Master.

Totally agree with Sean. WoM was very much tarred with the same brush as CoE... but remember it's still a show for all ages whereas Torchwood isn't.

Here is the first Xmas ident for Doctor Who:

"Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Tennant's f'ing off, oh what fun it will be to watch Nu-Who again......"

Hey that doesn't rhyme! :tap

Details! Details! :lol

I don't care how 10 dies, I just want it done & dusted ASAP so we can get on with the Matt Smith era which will hopefully be awesome or at the very least watchable.

Doctor Who

Doctor Who BBC1 6pm
The two-part Christmas special will see David Tennant wave goodbye as the 10th Doctor. Featuring a past Doctor, old sidekicks and other familiar faces - John Simm, Alexandra Moen, Timothy Dalton, Bernard Cribbins, Catherine Tate, Jacqueline King, June Whitfield, Billie Piper and Freema Agyeman join David for his final shows. As all three of his companions are set to marry, what will be the fate of the Doctor?

That's gotta be a mistake. Surely, we would've heard something by now.

btw - has anybody seen Dreamland yet? Thoughts?

Um, Freema wasn't on the cast list and there's only two Doctors past I can imagine showing up and I don't see Russel using the one I want to see most.

This was a while ago... maybe that synopsis has something to do with one of these two nuggets?

By the way speaking of classic WHO:

Paul McGann has reportedly completed filming his scenes for the Who Special he is in (which were "apparently few").

and

Episode 5.6 (approx) of series 5 will be based on the DW Novel Nightshade by Mark Gatiss and the role of Professot Nightshade in this episode will be played by non other than...

TOM "THE BOMB" BAKER!!!!!!!!!!!

(TB has been approached to play the role but no official agreement yet)

Background on the book: The Doctor and Ace end up in the village of Crook Marsham in 1968. The Doctor contemplates retiring and Ace falls in love. Edmund Trevithick, who once played the fictional character known as Professor Nightshade, begins to see other fictional characters as if they were real. The Doctor realizes that Crook Marsham has had many unexplained deaths throughout history. The villagers are then plagued by appeareances of lost loved ones.

TB is perfect for this role.

Or just someone making things up. Who knows, but as of now all official signs and statements point to no old Doctors and no Freema. That's what I'm gonna roll with until December 25/26th and January 1/2. I actually like not knowing the majority of what's going to happen especially for these last episodes.

Yeah for as hard as the spoiler hounds work, its surprising how little we actually know... and that is good I guess. :lol

I've just been sticking with the infamous Eddie and not really looking for spoilers. It was actually fun to be excited at the sight of the Master actually being back and not knowing much about his return.
