they change the music quite drastically but the visuals in the intro were awesome

My verdict,
New title sequence = Music starts a bit weird but is OK and the new "time vortex" thing is excellent.
11th Doctor = F'ing awesome.
Matt Smith sounds wayyy more convincing than Tennant and even made some of the cheesy humor sound genuinely funny so I think he has what it takes to make even the worst scripts watchable which again is a distinct step up in quality for the revived series.
Aside from spouting a few distinct Tennant-isms which I overlooked considering the character has just regenerated I got some distinct hints of other Doctors in there, he even went all boggly eyed like Tom at one point!
Amy Pond = MUCH easier on the eyes and ears than Donna, I just hope she doesn't end up falling in love with the Doctor as that angle has been done to death in Nu-Who already.
The story = Pretty basic but it did it's job of setting things up for the rest of the series. I thought the CGI was crappy but the montage of all the Doctors was very well done.
It will take a lot more to convince me a new "Golden Age" is upon us but it's looking like it'll be big step up in quality from the "Turd Brown Age" that was the RTD era.

Takes a bit of getting used to but it was quite fun. I always love when they show
all the Doctors. Plus it looks like River is back for at least 2 or 3 episodes.

Loved it. Thought it could have been trimmed a bit for better pacing.
The parts with young Amy were charming and sweet as hell and loved their modern introduction. I wish this first ep had more of them together but that's just a minor quibble. Then, while funny, I felt horrible the Doctor came late after testing out the TARDIS AGAIN. Then seasons off to a great start!

right when she said "can you get me back by tomorrow morning" I was thinking, she's getting married isn't she....and then you see her dress
You guys notice the crack on the screen at the end matched the crack on Amy's wall when she was a child........Something more than meets the eye about that.
