Nah, as usual I only *look* fast. I started making these outfits around a year ago, saving them so they'd be ready when Russ got his head sculpts ready.

There's still an outfit or two in the "goody bag" set aside for future trades with Russ, and a work in progress that I started last month that I won't show until it's completed. A sewing WIP is a hideous monstrosity that should not be seen by man nor beast. Especially during the 4-5 muslin mock-ups to get the pattern right. (One pattern took 10 trial runs before it was ready to sew for real. Ugh. :sick)

Ah i see :)...sewing is an ancient art that im afraid i will never get the hang of :D ...looking forward to your future projects :)

im actually really looking forward to getting my hands on Russ`s sculpts because im stuck making 5 inch scale figures at the moment so it will be nice to get back to 1/6 scale

Thats one excellent Jamie! Really very good indeed. :D

Mr Barlow your three Doc's already look spectacular! Can't wait to see them all finished. Do you still sell the Tom heads by the way?

I just won a Ken as Rhett Butler.... That much closer to a Pertwee. :D

and that Jamie is BRILLIANT! :rock

WOW, thats an amazing figure !! even without a head !!

Yeah, I need a Jamie for Pat
Tell you what, Ill tradeyou that body for a Jamie head ...lol

Sueworld, I havent finished Tom yet so I will let people know when he is ready to go . I have other Doctors etc.. that I am working on in rotation .

Russ

The Jamie costume is beautiful. Once the head is added, it will be really perfect.

That outfit looks GREAT!

Just one thing though; did he wear his kilt that low in the show?
It's just because a kilt should be worn halfway down the knee.

Thanks! Very good point. It just keeps slipping. I think I am going to (discreetly) sew it in the back (hidden beneath his vest) to his shirt to stop that. :)

It really does look good, don't see many kilted figures around :D

I just find it irks me when people wear kilts far too low, like past the knee, it makes them look silly :lol

Oh no, Russ! Jamie needs a head!!! :angelsmil:angelsmil:angelsmil
Rick, that looks fantastic! You were talking about modifying the vest I sent you a while ago - If that's what you used as a base, it looks a thousand times better now. Great addition of details there.

For those who want to make their own 1:6 kilts (for your own Currently-Headless-Jamie, or whoever): Patterns for the 1:6 Kilt. This pattern is very basic and very easy. (If you ever folded a sheet of notebook paper into a fan on a hot day in school, you should be able to modify that skill to make the pleats for this kilt pattern.)

If you prefer a great kilt, sort of like what Jamie wore in the Two Doctors, I have a few tips on my website: Some tips and links for 1:6 Scale Kilts, including How to Wrap and Wear a 1:6 Great Kilt

Sonic Screwdriver molded !!!!!!!!:banana

I should have casting picts tomorrow or Monday night. I will make it available to all who have gotten a Pertwee ( to save them extra shipping costs ) and the for the 2 other DRs, Baker and Davidson ( even though the wicked Davidson got it destroyed  )

I have done 1 style which can simply be altered w painting details to approximate all 3 versions .
