I really hope these guys are joking about how the culprit should sue and so on. So I guess people should be able to act like an _______ and then sue when they are delt with in their world? Again I hope they are kidding.

he could sue because it seems maybe disney did not handle this situation properly, that's why.
sure he is a drunken a__ole but it took regular people that pay their ticket to enjoy a day at disney to take this guy down.
They were not suppose to. security should have been there.
at least more than one guy. there was only one security guy and the drunk guy should have been in cuffs.this took too long. those people could have broken his arm or something. this was not dealt with well.

And you don't see a problem with that? :lol

What I see or don't see doesn't matter, just stating facts, not how I felt about it. You're reading into it. But if you want my opinion the matter was handle very poorly. Ill trained and prepared security.

Wow. I'm sorry but in my opinion if you act like and ****** you have no "rights". You cease to deserve them at that point.

That's for a court of law to decide not a mob.

what lion said, he made a fool of himself and could have hurt others, but, you still don't see it the way we do, Where was Security? where was the cops arresting him? they send an old guy with a can of mace, that's why he could sue,
is not right of course, but these places they supposed to have better security, those tickets are not cheap

Security brought that on himself in reality. Not the drunk guy but the poor result.

Mace is not some magical arrest making machine.

Its something you use to subdue someone and heres the key word, temporarily while you, heres another key word, restrain them. The guys already drunk and angry all security did was say wait a second while I make you even more pissed off, ok now do whatever you were going to a second ago.

Old Man Disney got the first part right but then simply stood there while the kids filming the ordeal made fun of the drunk guy probably enraging/egging him on further. Its like hitting the hulk in the eye with a rock, he may stop for a second to get the rock out of his cornea but then hes gonna smash your head through a windshield.

lol exactly, plus he did it twice. the guy was kind of getting calmed down whipping the pepper spray then he was hit again :rotfl:rotfl

There is a lot of money to be made with alcohol sales so if anything I'm sure this will spark greater observations on not allowing drunks in the park and not over serving guests in the park already.

That's the question. Who was the one who kept serving this guy liquor when he was so over his limit? Any good bartender would have cut him off before he got to this point. Unless he smuggled in his own booze, I would say the park itself is partly at fault for over serving him. Had those serving alcohol done their due diligence, it would never have come to this.

I used to work as a security guard, before and after the certification too. Last date was only 3 yrs ago. Security guard really have no rights beyond an ordinary citizen. I am not totally sure of the circumstances of this drunk person. I don't know what happen before the vid started. But the security guard could get into serious legal problem. He can only touch or harm the person if the person is endangering another. Looks like the drunk man is behaving in a disorderly conduct but not harming. His only real weapon is call backup.

Who said the park served him to begin with? :dunno That's one hell of an assumption. :slap

Pathetic effort on the secutity side of things. This guy should have been subdued and removed as swiftly as possible..
I'm sure Disney land would have a holding area for people like that for the cops to come and collect.

They do have a holding area. There is also two levels of security, those guy who are just kind of there and then the real security guys who are normally behind the scenes at all times.

I have seen both when me and buddy thought we were messing with a friend who worked at Disneyland, only to find out there is more then one Chip character roaming Disneyland at one time.:slap

Unless they have changed their rules, Disneyland does not allow outside food or drink into the park. That being the case, if someone at the park did not serve it to him, he could not have imbibed it there unless he smuggled it in. He could have entered the park drunk, I suppose and if he seemed calm enough I suppose no one would notice.

They wouldn't let me bring a gyro into the park and they don't even serve gyros there. I'm sure they would be even more stringent when it comes to alcohol. Based on my experience, therefore, it is most likely that someone at the park, or many people in different places served him enough alcohol to put him over his limit.

Are you sure you weren't messing with Dale instead? They do look alike. :lol

The thing that is the most screwed up about America is the sense of entitlement people feel - even to the point where they don't believe they should be responsible for the consequences of their actions.
