DX02 residue in abdominal area, has yours shown signs of it?

When you mix a 2 part 50/50 resin and if you use more then the other half it bleeds. When I cast stuff and this happens I wash it with dish soap 3 times in a week span and it all goes away. This is probably why the abs are oily, whatever they use for the plastic to make that part of batman.

@russel: I've posted yesterday at facebook a post on their site, where I've complained their action over me that they don't want to replace my figure. That makes some people awake and some of them have posted that this isn't right what hot toys is doing. then vodoun and me posted a pic of our damaged batman and i don't know what it was, but maybe it was just the public pressure that they have brought to this way and have contacted us both and are willing now to replace it.

i don't know how this went with vodoun, but today Emily Leung has contacted me over facebook, who seems to work for hot toys or their magazine 'milk' and have asked me to send her my email adress and she would give this to the cs to look where my mail has gone. then hot toys replied to me immediatly and told me that they are going to replace it. 30 minutes after i got again a message from Emily Leung where she told me, that i should have get a message now from HT.

Who knows what happened there, but it seems that I only got the replacement through Emily. ^^

I think they should've just owned up to it in the first place. Because of them, far too much negative energy surrounds this figure. They could learn a thing or two from Sideshow about how to treat their customers.

I just got mine in the mail today. I have one of the leaky ones i purchased loose on ebay a while back, and this one has harder ab plates. Hoping this one doesn't leak.

I've never had an issue with them. Their CS isn't as seamless as SSCs, but I have had every requested replacment part/figure taken care of with little to no hassles. The only outstanding hassle was having to pay for shipping back to them or Toys2 for the replacement...and I replaced my V1 bats and my DX bats.

I still think it sucks how some of the guys were denied around here but I just can't say I've experienced the same unwillingness to help from HTs. I guess mileage varies

That's the problem I find with trying to deal with HT directly, inconsistency, some people have great luck, some can't even get responses.

Sideshow may not always be able to give the answer people want, but you can at least keep in contact with them until you reach a conclusive answer.

Im sorry for everyone who got stuck with the leaky ones but now that I have DC Direct one with plastic chest... I think I would rather have a leaky one just so he can bend at the hips it kind of sucks have solid plastic... I agree that Hottoys not replacing your guys Batmans is ____ed up...

Yeah bet there are... But I dont see the hard plastic as a fix... I see it as hey we fixed the leak... An gave everyone who got this some thing else to complain about...
