Yeah bet there are... But I dont see the hard plastic as a fix... I see it as hey we fixed the leak... An gave everyone who got this some thing else to complain about...

Though, at least it won't self destruct. I was just talking to another board member who asked if I was willing to repurchase now that the DCD is out. Honestly, the only thing this has done is made me happy I never got rid of the first version.

I don't think I'd repurchase unless I was able to get a refund on the original. If I was still in posession of a leaky one and had no means to get my money back or get it replaced, I'd probably pass on buying another just because I would feel like I'm saying it's my responsibility to acquire an intact figure and HT isn't responsible for delivering one, but they are, and people shouldn't have to spend $400 to get one good $200 figure.

That's the problem I find with trying to deal with HT directly, inconsistency, some people have great luck, some can't even get responses.

Sideshow may not always be able to give the answer people want, but you can at least keep in contact with them until you reach a conclusive answer.

im in the process of trying to get a replacement...so far ht cs have been quick to respond....

Did you ordered from the second batch? Well I am sure almost 100% that your Batman will be leak. I never heard about a Batman from this batch which has no leakage problem.

Jesus Thrustmaster your batman looks horrible... Good luck and to everyone...I hope somehow your Batmen will be replaced....HT is just really shoot themselves in they the balls.

i have been assured it will be ok i have bought it from QS and Rolando knows the score i did ask about this issue and he said that the problem had now been resolved by Hot Toys with the production of the second batch hence the delay.

Yea I was just curious about the cost of the custom cape. I have seen pics, its the one that is extra long and drapes down perfectly. I might have to consider a cape upgrade too.

It's just better to PM the artist and ask.

It's not an official rule, but more of a courtesy. Some artist don't like to publicize their prices, for whatever reasons, and out of respect, most people will not give out that information and direct folks to the artist to get information.

I think he is asking cause someone asked him for the cusotm price of another member and whether it is ok for him to reply or reject
If that is indeed the case then I would treat it like in real life say if the inquiring member is considered a "friend" then you may reveal it but ask him to be discreet and if not maybe ask him nicely to PM the artist instead

Ok. Getting worried. So I was sent a tracking number from Hot Toys for my replacement body about 2 weeks ago and I've checked the tracking number several times since then and it says the same exact thing:

Status: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

this hasn't changed since I got my tracking number.

How long did everyone have to wait for their replacements to get to them? I know that if the package was moving there would be updates periodically. Is this normal? This has never happened to me.

Yea. I was not looking for an exact price, I was just curious if custom capes run $20 or $200... I can never tell how much things can cost in this hobby

Don't worry about it. I ordered a Hot Toys neck from a Hong Kong seller and I'm getting the same thing. I think the post is on vacation till something like the 6th of June. I know some sellers are stating this in their auctions.
