DX02 residue in abdominal area, has yours shown signs of it?

It's not that I don't know what to look for. Mine has no signs of it. I had the ab leak and showed how to fix it on mine, but it still ate away at the pants that is why I got a replacement.

I had this discussion with cr0w not that long ago. I even tried your fix with makeup sponges. It never worked, it actually made it ooze faster.

I'm just hoping the oil on the bicep is the lubricant that was used to slide the rubber suit on to the TT bodies, if it is it won't deteriorate the rubber. Mine is still oil free and this damn thread has made me check mine everyday.

My First one never developed the bicept and had it longer than Vondoun, so time is not a factor as I have had my replacement longer than him.

Who's been saying they all leak? I know all I've been saying is that if yours does leak, it's inevitably going to decompose whether you wipe it or leave it be.

Reading the last 50 or so pages of this thread sure hasn't put me in a good mood with the arrival of my DX DCD Bats being this week or next. It seems like it's inevitable there will be some leaking, even if it doesn't come on straight away. You can see it appearing pretty soon or after a month or so, right? Bad times.

It's all good having a tip top figure out of the box but it's what happens after a month or so. If anything.

I suppose, looking on the plus side, the abs will be fine, if the biceps do leak, we could send it back to HT and have those fixed, then it should be fine by the process of elimination.

If not i'm selling it and buying the Original Suit or something.

That's what I did. Got a refund for my DX and just hung on to the original new suit. Not nearly as detailed, but it's headache free.

Original Suit is as good a figure as the DX as well, if not better. I'm still super pumped about getting the DX, though, a bit of oil on the bicep plates won't bother me - as long as it doesn't get any worse than what we've seen in vodoun's pics. I'm sure i'll stay clued up if I carry on being a legend on this forum*! People are ahead of me with theirs so I suppose i'll be able to get on top of problems before they happen.

Not so far. Who knows what would have happened if I never done this.

I've maybe only touched it once or twice since then, a quick swipe not sitting there for 5 minutes trying to absorb it and I'm talking as small as a needle point now.

Yes. My Batman has the exact problem like at Vodoun's Batman.

From what I gathered, the abs are fine on the DCD figures, however the bicep plates are showing little specs of oil, nowhere near as bad as the ab plates on older batches, though. It can appear after a few days or a month. Or, in some cases, like Maulfans, 2 months can go by with no problems. It's a bit of a mess!

I got my second replacement and the abs are plastic hard as well and guess what one of the biceps is leaking already. My first replacement is still fine but I see no reasonn why it would not happen to a majority of figures much like the original leaking issue. I will stuff the shoulder plate with tissue so it can soak up the residue. For me the chapter on this is done as I cannot see HT going through another round of replacements and it is time for me to step aside and let someone else take them on
