Hmm ok
I got my second replacement and the abs are plastic hard as well and guess what one of the biceps is leaking already. My first replacement is still fine but I see no reasonn why it would not happen to a majority of figures much like the original leaking issue. I will stuff the shoulder plate with tissue so it can soak up the residue. For me the chapter on this is done as I cannot see HT going through another round of replacements and it is time for me to step aside and let someone else take them on

I don't even know why those parts are made out of rubber when it doesn't need to be. It has no articulation there so it serves no purpose. The DCD 1/6 and Medicom is made out of plastic on those areas.

Well besides the leaking bicep plates my DX is starting to tear in the crotch now. No I didn't do any crazy poses. Just used the stand to keep him up right. Now look UGH...

Best pic I can take. Can't get to close without loosing focus. I need a new camera. But you can tell by the light grey where it is cracking.

It really is sickening when you see that. :/

How long have you had the thigh masters wedged up there? Looks as if it's been more than a few weeks.

I always made sure when it came to rubber suits to leave slack. My figures can wiggle in them but keeping those prongs up far enough the figure wont accidentally topple forward. I've sometimes walked into the room that I can see them gently waddle back and forth due to the slack I left. As I have a wooden floor where some of the boards gently move up and down where the desk is sitting on due to the wheels.

Iron Man is a different story. I do have them wedged tightly up there as there's nothing to press or mark against.

I guess this figure is going to prove it will be short lived. :(

Maybe try contacting Hot Toys since it's tearing on it's own. They certainly did not do their R&D on this rubber.

Yeah It's been wedged up there since I got it. It left dents in it and I dont want to make more indentations. But it looks like I'll have to lower it and leave another dent in each leg. Ughhh...

Sucks to hear all these problems. I was so tempted to sell off a few things to get a DX Bats at BBTS but I think this is one figure I'm gonna pass on which really sucks as it is one of HT's nicest looking figures to date imo.

both of my new bodies have a bit of oil already on the bicep. wasnt a big surprise hearing all i have from here. looking forward to the medicom revamp with Dx chest. i have the medi with altered head and repaint from rismo and hes great. but he could be better with the new chest. looks like im going to be kitbashing here soon myself :)

Ah c'mon man, don't tell me that! :(

It's nowhere as bad as the biceps on the last figures but bad enough that some parts are no longer lovely black matte. It's like the effect from a kid after eating a packet of crisps then handling it.

All I can suggest is do this before it even starts which has nearly cleared it all up for me. As well as wiping it with a damp cloth if it shows up.

I think there is still a chemical reaction triggering with the rubber plates touching the other rubber areas somehow even if the bicep plates weren't quite cured properly.

I'm starting to notice it to on my DCD DX Batman.

Welcome in the club!

So far so good with mine ........... its only been 2 full days though.

Mine was perfectly fine until a month and than the leaking is started. Right now it looks like the leaking stoped for now...but I have a feeling it will probably come back. Just do what Vodoun suggested with the Batman.

I'm thinking of buying a dx batman. is he still leaking? or is it solved?

Many of the DCD DX Batmen are still leaking at the biceps area...and also more and more people reporting leakage and they have the newest release. So the problem is not really solved.

i contacted HT about my DX Bats with leaking abs!
This is the crap reply i got...

Hello,

Sorry for keep you waiting!
However, we sorry to tell you that no replacement could be made as there may be slim chances of leakage.
You may use tissue to wipe the oil if there is.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your support for Hot Toys products!

Best regards,
