DX02 residue in abdominal area, has yours shown signs of it?

the residue used to be only on the two lower plates.. now migrating into the top four. But worse is the residue has creeped up on the side mesh all the way up to the chest armor and now has made that plastic darker too on the lower edges on both sides!!!! It's not peeling but looks like the plastic even soaked some of the residue. Same is happening on the left shoulder armor as well as you can also kinda see in the picture soaking up the residue from the bicept plate

Geil I really hope the new body will not have this problem...After a few months the figure will be damaged by itself...that would be a disaster. Hot Toys and they quality control...They make beautifull looking figures, but the materials sometimes are laughable really....

When did you contact them, and assuming obviously you supplied pics of the oozing and proof of receipt?

it has been a week ago. and yes, i have sent them the pics and the payment-receipt. First to [email protected] and second mail to [email protected].

i just got mine and it came out of the box all oiled up, like he's ready to wrestle with Bain haha. anyways he look's good! I like him shiny, so i spread the oil evenly on his chest.

Did you knew about the oil problem? If yes than why didn't you wait for the DCD release.

Alot of people had trouble waiting...I myself, came close to ordering a few times.....SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I did not..

Hehe!! I was in the same situation many times. I almost fall into this trap and ordered the DX Bat from the second batch, but I am glad because I waited long enough for the fixed version!! It was a very hard time lol but It looks like my patience has pay off!!

Dc Direct release(third batch) which doesn't have the oil problem.

I haven't been looking at the DC forums lately, but its good to hear the problems have been fixed with the DCD batch.

I'm glad I decided to purchase the figure from DCBS. Great price and hopefully a defect-free product.

I'm glad I decided to purchase the figure from DCBS. Great price and hopefully a defect-free product.

Still speculation at this point. Although, minor poseability suffers from the "fix" too.

My replacment arrived from Hot Toys customer service today - only 5 days after posting - no leaking whatsoever!!! looks fantastic. They have used some sort of different plastic material - muchos happy

I am so glad because I waited for the DCD release. I ordered it from edtoyzz on Ebay! I can't wait for the arrive. Thx god it looks like the leakage problem has been solved.

Just want to chime in to keep people up to speed, I've had my replacement for a week now, no issues with the biceps or the stomach. This is by no means an "all is fixed", but, I didn't even get a full week with my original figure before problems kicked in, so it is sadly a milestone for me with this figure

can someone post a pic of the DX02 boots. I could swear the new ones look different, softer and cheaper looking. Again could be my imagination, but it was the first thing i noticed on the replacement.
