You never know. If they try to be true to the actual costume, could be trouble. The main armor plates were one material glued over a body suit.
You can actually spot it on the DCD bust, the sleeves are matte where it's the body suit and glossy where it's the armor pieces.
Granted, in theory, HT should have learned from this DX and won't be repeating the mistakes again in the future, but where they're always trying out new ways of doing things, I'll feel safer just delaying receipt of the figure to wait out possible issues.
I see that, but I wonder if HT wouldn't be able to duplicate that by molding it in a single layer, or if they'd do something similar to Sideshow's armored figures with a vinyl/pleather suit under a suit.
