Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Suddenly the next Hot Toys T-800 BATLLE DAMAGE, scale "1/4", is much better. Although I have it on preorder at BBTS, I'm not convinced this 1/6 figure, the face is not very similar.

T-800 1/4 beside to the Endoskeleton 1/4 Awesome....................." Amazing................."

Beautiful! I have my shelf ready for it. I moved out my 12" Neca T-800s. I have the T1 T-800, the T-1000 I acquired last month and my old 12" McFarlane T-850 in the background. The DX10 will be up front and center. I really prefer this sculpt over the MMS117, I'm glad I waited.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I never bought the 12" McFarlane T-850. That was before I ever made the leap to 1/6. I never considered it at all. Don't think I'd buy it now either even though I still collect low-end. I find it has oddly asymmetrical shoulders. Also its T3.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

To me, It looks to be exactly the same as the mms117 in the pic!

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

However MMS117 never looked that good :dunno

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

The jacket closing tighter on the chest is the only noticeable improvement from that pic.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Looks shorter, with thinner arms and legs.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Well, we'll find out. Assuming I can proceed and get mine I'll be putting the head on another figure for the chip removal scene and probably just displaying the rest with the bandolier and grenade launcher. Already got a mini-gun set up that I'm mostly happy with.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Do you guys really think Hot Toys improved the jacket?

Looks like they did the paper clip mod to improve the jacket:lol

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Well to some degree one could argue that they did improve it buy supposedly using real leather :wink1: :lol

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

It looks good from far and hopefully not far from good:panic:

It was good for me back when all we were getting was Terminators with their faces ripped off at the time.

The T-850 is solid and heavy too. It can be used as a weapon. I view T3 the same way I view Predators: an homage to a much better movie, but still fun in its own way. In spite of the fact that I don't even consider T3 to be part of the Terminator canon, I'd totally buy a HT T-850 if they made it.

And it's good to know it doesn't have that caricature of a mouth on it that the MMS117 does.

Absolutely. Especially the final stage battle damage. Every time I look at the McFarlane small scale BD T-850 from the diorama set I imagine...well first of all an upright one because that one is preposed on his hunches (...haunches? Or am I making up a word?), but definitely how amazing a HT one would be.

Hair seems to be fuller. Almost looks like the EB scaled down with the bins on.
