Finally releasing a BD version would have been a far better 'counter' to Enterbays figure.

So far I have decided t pick this figure up. I admit that I am not "head over heels" like I was for Indiana, Sparrow, Nicholson and Sweeny (yes Sweeny). But this is the only figure in the HT current catalog that interest me. If I pass on this then it might be another year or so before my next purchase.........DX Penguin. And I think I need a HT fix now......

This looks to be a slight improvement ver the MMS117 with the shades on, (from that one small pic), so I think I may pick it up and sell off the mini gun/extra gear.

To me, It looks to be exactly the same as the mms117 in the pic!

Yeah the sunglasses, grey T-shirt and shotgun combo is exactly how they first presented MMS117.

I thought the same exact thing when I saw it. It's even the same pose.

The jacket closing tighter on the chest is the only noticeable improvement from that pic.

I wondered the same thing myself, but my guess is yes.....really don't matter much etherway as I thought the jacket and pants on mms117 looked fantastic and they were not leather, just that the jacket on that one was a smige to small.

I'm thinking of selling my MMS117 without the robotic arm I'll be keeping that to go with the Dx figure still not sure yet...

Just the arm or are you thinking of keeping a 'has everything from each release' type figure? If the latter you'd also want to keep the rosebox and black t-shirt...

that's right forgot these weren't included...that is what I'm going for an everything thing from each release type figure if I do decide to sell.

I did the same thing with my TDK Joker, kept the machine gun and Bank Robber Joker head from a previous figure to enhance the DX01 as an ultimate Joker figure. Of course now I'm thinking of selling some or all of that figure what with DX11 coming.

Yeah I wanted to keep DX01, pop the laughing head on it and display it in the interrogation room setup with the rest of DX11 displayed full clown but a more urgent need of money may win out and make me sell it, I dunno. I do however want to keep the DX01 PERS head no matter what - people slag it off, myself included - but the expression is unique to that sculpt, and very Ledger.

I'm thinking of buying a spare MMS117 robotic arm but I want to make sure that the DX arm can pop off as easily as the MMS arm did (for mine at least) and look like it can fit the robotic arm w/o looking weird

I'm thinking of buying a spare MMS117 robotic arm

spare arms for sale for some reason have a very low quality: they are painted so much that the paint glued parts together + parts themselves are too soft to move without tearing.
i bought 6 arms in different times from different sellers (i needed them for some projects), and only 2 of them were almost ok.
just a warning
or at least demand a big, good photo of the actual arm. look at the palm zone. if it is bright-red, forget it. if it is pale red/pink with slight "chrome shine" effect, try it.

however, my original MMS117 had a really red palm and I was still able to move all the fingers and other joints/pistons w/o breaking anything
