After a couple days, I've seen this sculpt being claimed to have a likeness to the following people, and it's pretty hilarious.

Haley Joel Osment
John Leguizamo
Barack Obama
Val Kilmer

this thread. I'm not one to impugn on the perceptions of others, but I can't help but laugh at the sheer disparity.

You left out Val Kilmer - Terminator Forever.

wow... I can't believe how dissapointing this turned out. that one OMG shot with the previous release makes this look like a hasbro release from 1992 or something.. yikes. hope this marks the end of PERS in future releases unless some serious retooling in the design is done..

I can't quite believe it till I have it in hand. I honestly didn't think they'd fix that issue, even if they were aware of it, so as to keep all their T-800s consistent.

Hey snake eater. If you decide to sell I'd be interested.

I'm satisfied enough with the original MM117, but I wouldn't mind getting the following:

The mini-gun with ammo pack
The grenade launcher w/ bandolier
and the pair of hands for holding the mini gun

Is it me, or does Arnold look significantly younger? He looks older and more accurate in the old MMS figure. Please someone tell me I'm wrong.

I would say the old MMS figure looks older, but not necessarily more accurate. The DX10 certainly looks younger. I prefer the DX10 headsculpt because I find the MSS one a little too sharp or harsh - trying to find the right words. The old MSS one has features that are overly defined if you will. The new one is younger and smoother. Both arent 100%. But I also find the DX10 looks almost spot with the sunglasses on.

I like these pics, getting a better idea now how this looks in hand..the hi-res pics kill the realism effect the product is going for.

If you ask me MMS117 looks more like his T3 age. In this respect I think Dx10 is better. Maybe they went a little too young looking but it shows they've tried to address another common complaint about MMS117.

This has Haley Joel Osment's eyes and forehead,

John Leguizamo's hairline, nose, mouth and brows,

And Obama's skull structure and features,

Mix them in the melting pot, sprinkle some PERS and guyliner, mimick what Enterbay did,

and you get this,

GREAT WORK!

I don't see any of those guys in this sculpt. However - I DO see:

*Benicio Del Toro (eyes)
*Matt Damon (head / facial structure)

..& a little Arnold sprinkled in.

Funny enough I showed my Girlfriend a sidebyside and asked which she preferred she laughed and said the dx 10 looked like mat damon.

I showed my Girlfriend too what is her oppinion, she said it looks like the stuntman of Arnie.
