I think the colder skin tone of the MMS would have been a better choice. The warmer seems to make look even more soft.

Yeah, I hope there isn't too much of a contrast between the skin colour of the T1 and the DX on my shelf.

This saying kinda seems out of place with this release, I think it would make more sence with the battle damaged t-800.

I'm so torn on whether to get this figure or not...I had a pre-order but canceled,now I'm second guessing myself...I hate it when that happens.

For the price of this figure, Hot Toys really should have thrown in a Cyberdyne Systems diorama mimicking the police confrontation scene.

Yeah I just noticed theres no name plate on the new stand ether, should have somehing written on it like T800 or Dx logo, hmmm I don't really like the stand much, not a big issue but I would have prefered the larger dx stand with cyberdine building floor tiles and broken glass like his shooting out the window, which is the version this is supposed to be.

hot toys seem to struggle with arnies likeness. (but not as much as harrison fords likeness. they need to ditch the pers.
Enterbay wins.

Just got mine today! I don't have any complaints seeing that I missed the original MMS.

These pictures make this figure look so much better! Now Im contemplating on whether or not I should order him...........

Just noticed your standard one still has the wrap.

It looks like the DX stand is a bit taller than the 1st stand yet the 2 figures look close to the same height. Is this just the camera angle or is the DX shorter?

Actually I pretty like it and going to pick up two.

I'm not 100% happy with this head.
I think that PERS is not the best thing to go with Arnold's unusual look and HT really should just make 2 heads: one for glasses with the hair style that we see on this figure; and another one with eyes pulled down and some hedgehog hair for "cop lover" scene. Like EB did on their 1/4 scale Batman: Begins. But sure, they could not go without PERS on DX, so I understand it...

Also I really don't like those grenades, they're out of scale and movie accuracy. Looks very weak.

I'm really disappointed with the body, it has very little or even no improvements at all. They did not fixed this terrible bull neck and the head color doesn't fit to the body color. Odd! Still he looks like Arnie T1, but he was not so giant and bloated in T2. Anyway, they've brought a lot of changes into head including better connection line with the body. That's sweet.

The M134 & bag are also made with mistakes. Machine gun misses few parts that we can see in the movie and the bag is totally wrong ripped off from the very first HT T-800 with messy face. It should be more like sack than bag.

All other parts looks pretty OK or just great to me.
This is one solid Arnie T2 that we was waiting for so long and I'm happy we've got it.

Cool setup but I do see the "teenage Arnold" look in the DX that some have called out.

But in hand he dosn't look teenage at all. It is spot on. This is a sculpt that doesnt photograph well.
