It is a strange DX.... I was beginning to believe that PERS and multiple sculpts were part of the DX treatment. This whole release feels very MMS to me. Lose the PERS and lower the price.

I think the price is pretty good on this. I mean It's cheaper than Sparrow, '89 Bats and Joker and Luke (of course with Luke youre getting 2 figures). at AE it's $206 which also make this more appealing...but then I look at EBs T-800 :

Come on HT, pathetic.

I had to get in on the griping on that post, due to the board being down. I tend to avoid commenting on their board, otherwise.

But yeah, I'll plan on trying to pick up some accessories from TA or eBay if not crazy expensive. And if I can't, I don't feel like I missed out on much.

Actually I'm getting real bored and tired and put off with this and feel like we are in fact losing in this battle when so many other licenses and figures could be announced instead of the same boring crap.

I simply don't care as much as i used, HT is a sinking ship, it's no fun sinking with them, not fun watching either, but better than sinking

I think the thing that bothers me the most about this is you can tell the lack of time and development they spent on making the figure.

If they can go all out for Bespin Luke Skywalker and give him two, completely different headsculpts and another body with a new suit, they could do the same for this one. Granted, it may be more $$$ but I think the value here, with this version is really lacking.

The only thing I think is cool oddly enough is the "removable scalp" piece with the computer chip reveal. I have no idea what would possess them to do something like that but it is pretty neat to see. It really is an unneeded feature though. How could anyone even display it like that?

BIGGEST waste of a DX. Hot Toys have truly sunk to a new low. I'm a fan of Terminator and all, but this announcement is such a dissapointment......

they must of recently changed it orsomething. When i looked at it earlier today, it said $209.99. I might just order this just in case I can't get the EB one. I needs me a T2 T800!!!

I wish they would have at leased added some new none gloved hands similar to the way the EB 1/4 hands are

Across the whole board of HT, EB and NECA theres now a huge array of cool scene specific stuff in toy form, stuff you don't really need but its nevertheless cool to have like roseboxes, DIY surgery kits, endo-arm reveals, closed bloodied eyes, T-1000 feet melding with floors, finger hands etc.

Yeah, i'll be sticking with the original, but i guess its nice for those who never managed to pick him up.

Just a shame that there doesnt appear to be a BD HS

I can see HT announcing BD options to this figure. I'm just happy we're getting more Terminator. Nothing gets me so stoked as this franchise. The age old argument applies here: if you don't like the figure, ____ off and _____ somewhere. I hate people that keep coming back to the thread repeatedly with their same two cents as the months go by. I like the figure, and think it will be even better when it's released.
