For anyone who is still on the fence about this figure, GoHastings has it in stock and with the promotional code "POSABLE" (and I don't know if that is the same for everyone) you get a 25% discount on the figure. It comes to only $180.89 after the discount and shipping.

I would suggest anyone that has been holding out to get it now while it still in stock.

Just to let you guys know, you can actually change the clothes and swap out accessories on this figure, so you can recreate many scenes with just one figure! Think of the money and space you save!:wink1:

Got to Gohasting, look under trends, and then action figures/figures, then type in Hot Toys, the DX10 comes up with a few others (Batpod, Batmoble, Batman DX12). I checked before I completed the checkout to see if it would give me the discount and it did.

No ****'in with you at all.

yep just got this guy for $180 shipped, I'm so thrilled to get him

Same here. Saw it was still available, added to cart and was no longer available. Had I known I would have picked it up this afternoon. I was off work all day today.

I just set up my Arnold with the minigun and gear again. The set up went smoother than the first time I tried it. I fiddled with the pose a lot, trying to approximate the minigun shooting scene, but I just can't get it to where I'm really happy with it.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I got mine the other day, before New Years, very impressed with it. I got a great deal on it, bought it brand new for $190 shipped (just slightly more expensive than my 117 and 136 T-800s). So I'm pleased with the value there.

Love the "leather" box. One of the best presentations I've seen with a DX figure. The little sliding thing reminds me of the promotional "T2" stuff from 1992. Very cool.

The figure itself is much better than the prototype and yeah, the face is better in person. The new body is fantastic and the articulation is improved. The tailoring on the jacket is better and the leather is a nice touch. All the accessories are great, I can't put the grenade launcher or minigun down. Also really dig having the bandoleer look. The hands are also easier to swap out, so that's a good thing.

The recycled Tron base is "meh" but whatever. I pulled the tab out to make sure it was functioning properly, then put the tab back in and put it away. That's staying in the box.

Only gripe I have is the PERS system. Still don't like it. The eyes aren't as bad in person as they are in pics, but it's unnecessary. I hate how hollow the head is. It doesn't help that the scalp at the top pops off and that it's just a head without the sculpted neck, but the PERS panel too?

When I went to pop the head off (have to take it off to put the bandolier on) I was afraid I was going to crush the head or break it or something since it's so empty with all those removable pieces. I'd definitely prefer a single, solid headsculpt with no gimmicks.

Overall, really impressive. Other than the head, it's a nice, solid figure. Yeah, it's an improvement over the MMS 117, but I don't think it makes it obsolete. Still keeping mine, just as a different version.

Since I technically got this last year. I'll say that DX 09 Keaton Batman and DX 10 Arnold Terminator are neck in neck for figure of the year for 2012 for me. Glad I got this.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Congrats DiFabio. Glad you like it. Tbh i'd have to agree on every count. Can't stand PERS. They remove PERS and there's no need to milk a "DX" line anymore.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I was curious to have an Arnie figure with PERS. Now I've got one. I think I could live without it on future figures at least as much as I can live with it on DX10. Being able to choose the eye direction is nifty but it does create a wierdness about the eyes with the thick eyelids PLUS the access panels creating more seams on top of the usual joints.
Solid sculpts and painted eyes, painted in a particular direction if it suits the character (which it did the MMS136 BD head) would be better in future.

Congrats DiFabio for getting a sweet deal on this great figure!

I agree about the PERS on this figure being unnecessary. I'm keeping the sunglasses on at all times, since I think it elevates the Arnie likeness more. BUt yes, over-all it's a great figure. I really love how the real leather clothing hangs.

Yeah congrats difabio:hi5:

Loving the figure myself! Finally desided to jump into t3, I got a new custom in the works for a battle damaged t-850, I got the head, jacket, pants, machine gun and gloves on the way:yess: I still need some boots and various other bits and I gotta figure out the best body to use for this but I will post pics when completed which will likely be a couple of weeks.
