Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

^^ just to play devil's advocate, why no Sarah Endo?

A) Don't collect chicks
B) Sarah was no good
C) Spent all your money on the T-1000

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Nice poses, dude. I bought a narrow shoulder for the biker look but it looks like he has a super long neck. I don't get it. Isn't that what the T-1000 is on just with a metal plate on the chest?

Thx, buddy.
Dunno, I just went with a set of parts I needed for the biker T-1000 and another body then the original did never come to mind.

that's a super display for terminator series!
lights and colors, everything fits perfectly.

Thx, mate. Glad you guys all like the display.
:)

EndoSickness, wonderful display!!!

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Yeah that's exactly the pose I need it for. If he does come as you suggested it could, in the prototype pictures, HT either used a preliminary body without the double-jointed elbow, or they just did a piss-poor job at recreating that pose. Both options wouldn't surprise me though. :lol
The thing is, if it turns out the DX13 does have the old MMS style elbows, I don't want the Arnold Truetype to be sold out by then and being forced to improvise.

You'd have to improvise one way or another if using the current Arnold Truetype because you still need a battle-damaged chest. What you'd want is to keep the DX13 torso but swap the arms.

A-Dev, where you at?! What do you think?!
Your Pescadero mock up could use some company, or not?!
:lol

Que? I'm here. In fact I was one of the guys you quoted! :D

However your setup is beautiful and worth commenting on again. Great backdrop, lighting and poses.

Yeah that's true. But as P. said, it's an easy swap between the MMS and the DX body, so changing only the right arm shouldn't be a problem.
I'm just not sure I want to shell out the cash for the whole body, just to have a backup plan for the arm. :lol

That´s not what I meant.

I meant what you think of the idea of the galeria bash between both terminators as a diorama like you have, with Pescadero?!

:D the T1000 and T800 begin fighting over the shotgun, the T800 then starts to smash the T1000 through walls... since your half way there and all :D

Ah. Well I'd love that of course. Who wants to make me the diorama? Complete with pepsi-dispenser at the end of the corridor?

You guys need to stop putting ideas in my head, you've just reminded me that I don't have a setup of their first hand-to-hand battle.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

So the MMS arms fit the DX torso without a problem? Do you know if it also works the other way around, if the DX arms fit the MMS torso?
yes.
i took the MMS117 body, gave him the DX10 arms (which i took from the previous switch) and made a gift for a 12-years-old son of one of my colleagues :D
though i forgot to mention that i had to enlarge the holes in rubber torso to fit the shoulders.
they (shoulder ball joints) were too big to move arms without problems.

It's a small piece of carboard, spritzed with water, rolled, then lit for the photo.

that makes toys look so natural!
i haven't learned how to do that kind of weathering, but that's really very important.
