Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Could someone who has both the MMS and Dx glasses take a picture of them side-by-side? I just bought a pair of DX glasses from eBay and I want to make sure I got the right ones.:lol

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Thx, fellas.
Glad to hear.
Since I put my game a little higher, with my own room for it I took way more care into good poses.
:1-1:

Thanks for the compliments guys. :hi5:

To spindrift you are absolutely right about the flash washing out all of the details on the hs, but I had to use it cause my overhead lights suck :lol.

Well, you would have been right about my pics too :lol. The flash takes away a ton of detail for sure, giving him a much younger look. It looks so much better in hand, but so does most figures.:)

agreed- all HT figures look better in hand in natural light..some more than others..Indy being a key one with particularly bad pics

that's a very cool pose.
if i ever make a version using the grenade launcher, i'll copy that one )
just think that his head should be a lot more "up". that's how he was in that scene.

well yeah i posted them...
but didn't manage to find my post.
i'll repost pics if you want to see them. :)
...oh i found it. though for some reason i cannot see pictures in opera, but they work in firefox.

Snap P.! first time i've seen pictures of that, I could smell the bio stink coming from under that open skin! Bravo man :horror

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Since I wanna add the DX to my collection soon, I thought I need a new arrangement and also since it needed to be symmetric, I tried a new pose on my MMS.
Let´s call it a mod of the "Pescadero elevator exit".

What do you guys think?!

That looks fantastic... Terminator is one of the FEW licenses that actually has more than 2 characters!

The ONE really bad *** scene I want to set up so bad, is in the mall, the back hallway, where Arnie takes two handfuls of the T1000's jacket and slams him through a wall, then they start slamming each other...

I would buy a T-1000 just for that....

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I wonder could it be that HT has made the BD arm on DX13 in the style of the old MMS117/136 body but the other intact arm in the style of the new body with the doublejoint. That way the right arm could still hold the pistol up at a tighter angle for the bit of the film in my Sig image.

Yeah that's exactly the pose I need it for. If he does come as you suggested it could, in the prototype pictures, HT either used a preliminary body without the double-jointed elbow, or they just did a piss-poor job at recreating that pose. Both options wouldn't surprise me though. :lol
The thing is, if it turns out the DX13 does have the old MMS style elbows, I don't want the Arnold Truetype to be sold out by then and being forced to improvise.

I think all of your figures have good poses. :clap

That looks fantastic mate. I love the T-1000 running pose, that tense look of his upper body as he takes the bullets looks straight out of the film.

Thx, mate.

Yeah, that would be a set up.
Both a little dusty from slamming each other into the walls. Dents in the walls, bricks everywhere.
That would be something.

A-Dev, where you at?! What do you think?!
Your Pescadero mock up could use some company, or not?!
:lol

Nice poses, dude. I bought a narrow shoulder for the biker look but it looks like he has a super long neck. I don't get it. Isn't that what the T-1000 is on just with a metal plate on the chest?

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

So the MMS arms fit the DX torso without a problem? Do you know if it also works the other way around, if the DX arms fit the MMS torso?
yes.
i took the MMS117 body, gave him the DX10 arms (which i took from the previous switch) and made a gift for a 12-years-old son of one of my colleagues :D
(i mean - with MMS117 clothes & head and a full set of DX10 accessories. not just a nude headless doll O_O)

the inner construction there is all the same. they changed only the arms and the shape of rubber torso cover.
And last, but not least to P I love the endo arm & compliment on the pose.
thanks :)

I think the hs is in a great spot to hide the neck gap, but feel free to improve upon it. I look forward to seeing your pics :hi5:. Here is another shot of the same pose at a different angle, so you can see the hs position better. :)
p.s. i referred to the cops shootout scene (he shot and looked down), but now i remember that there was a "let me try mine" scene, shooting straight forward. your pose fits that scene.

i know about that gap. for some reason i manage to ignore it :)

that's a super display for terminator series!
lights and colors, everything fits perfectly.
