Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Sorry guys I keep forgetting your not my personal friends and were not really here to chat about anything except the figure... :cuckoo::cuckoo:

It's all good Sith, but the end of the world stuff is not gonna be due to the mayan calendar, or news media. I also recommend to you not watching a show called Doomsday Preppers on the NAT GEO channel. You will never sleep again and be worried sick all the time man.:lol

As far as collectible figures go, you can pickup a ACI Roman General which is Russell Crowe from the Gladiator movie. Chuck Norris has already been made in red or blue your choice just paint black:
chuck_norris_action_figure_mustache.jpg

and Mel Gibson went off the deep end, so don't expect any company to be jumping on his bandwagon anytime soon.:wink1:

Shortround = short profit

Which leaves are beloved John Connor punk kid played by drugged out Edward Furlong. He would sell his likeness for a dimebag, so it's just up to HT to do it. This is the figure I want to see by 2020. :hi5:....:rotfl

We all had that figure my friend. :wink1: And yes, it's harsh about Furlong, but he needs to go on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and sober up. I hope he reads this and gets it together. Tough love. :monkey2 ..........:lol

Hi. I'm Papasmoak, and I'm a Sagittarius. I enjoy surfing, candlelit dinners, and Tolstoi. Listen...I'm a mature person and you're a mature person, so why don't we just skip all the bs, get rid of our inhibitions, and DO what we really wanna DO?

P.S. guess the film.....

Sorry Papa missed this the first time: Once Bitten is the answer. :lol Seen that movie way to many times.

nah I prefer Hot toys brand if a figure is at all worth money... just really broke... the Russel is nice but imagine a HT one.

I had that toy too, boy it must have made millions if we all had it...

I just had a look at this:

Unfortunately as nostalgic as it is, I would NEVER buy this so scratch that idea...

but as for the Mel thing, I could care less, Braveheart is one of my favorite movies of all time and I certainly don't collect figures based on real life actors morals...

Well I don't think HT plans to revisit Russell Crowe, so you may be forced to purchase their existing figure made a few years ago here:

For Braveheart, I never said I didn't want it, I own the movie and have watched it many times. It brings a tear to my eye everytime and that is no lie. I do believe because of his recent actions no company is willing to work with the man. I too can seperate figures from the real person, so that is a non issue for me.

I don't think HT can capture the true essence of Chuck the way Kenner did. It truly was ahead of it's time. Plus, your not gonna get a dragon whip back kick option with HT, unlike the blue Norris figure. Just something to think about.
THANKS KEITH!! :yess: :hi5: :panic:

:hi5: congrats.

A good chuck norris in 1/6 is badly needed, I would buy a well done chuck from almost any movie.

You sir....rock:rock2

Thank you sir. I also thank you for reminding me how stupidly funny that movie is and how awesome those guys are at picking up vampire women. I imagine that is a very difficult task, yet they seem to do it with ease.

please note the minigun level.
near the chest, arms bent like it has no weight.
previous body's arms didn't allow that, but these new elbows are designed to bend for the "cyberdyne" scene above.

attempts:

too high on my photo though.

Sweet efforts P. - can I call you a "funny name" for using a MMS jacket! :pfft:

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

1. It's a better looking jacket
2. You can customize it since it's a fake leather

i don't think i understood you, might be for my own good.
but for the part i did understand: that's not an MMS jacket. it's a weathered DX10 jacket which i liked very much until i made bullet holes in it several millimeters in diameter instead of small pistol bullet holes.
that was a very sad story, i actually spoiled 2 pants and 3 jackets already, trying to weather them.
those MF DX10 clothes sustain any damage you give them - acetic acid, chlorine acid, sanding, white spirit, washing machine - and stay without any torn.

Anyone wanting some spare DX10 bits - check my for sales thread.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Just got mine.
The only thing I don't like is the bandolier. Other than that, solid figure.

Now, my MMS is wearing the DX shades. Looks great !

Awesome shots, dev. :)

I still think having PERS removed from this piece would've improved it.

Yeah probably. At the same time though I love that I'm not limited to one eye direction. Its a tough one.

Do you think it might be too much to ask of Hot Toys to provide like....4 headsculpts with painted eyes? One looking left, one looking right, one looking straight ahead, one looking down a bit. :dunno
