I will post pics in the Dutch thread when there is something to show, but I literally just bought the non-stock parts I needed on Sunday, so will be awhile before I have some movement. I was really inspired by what Elvis put together in his thread recently, and figured Predator deserves it, so I'm investing some real money into this one.

Head looks fantastic when glasses are on. . .or when this is supposed to be a different, younger Arnold character. Preferably with a repaint. Elvis's customs prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt in my mind.

Few more of mine.
Forgive a few blurry shots.
I need myself a REAL came some time some way, cause when the light is "worng" for my Digital Cam, the focus just doesn´t do anything at all.
Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Set up with the box I tried, that was particulary the case where the focus didn´t work almost at all:

Him with the Coomodel Gatling and comparison of HT´s and CM´s Gatling
Almost looks more like a DX treatment, then the HT Gatling, if you ask me:

And last the DX and MMS side by side.
Personally I love the Galleria look on the MMS more then on the DX, but they both look excellent besides each other:

2) When you first get your Arnie, pop his head off and turn that neck joint forward. (Both of mine came with peg to the right) You'll see the neck joint is thicker on the side with the indentation, turn the indentation forward, facing front. Wallah, a centered Arnie head...

mod the neck?

Here ya go!

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Loving all these recent shots, makes this figure look amazing! Head sculpt looks so good, the likeness is spot on with the glasses on. Makes me want one really bad, but I'm gonna hold out for the BD version instead.

Anyway, I really hope the BD version looks just as good as this in terms of likeness. For some reason the likeness on this looks better to me when I compare these shots with the HT proto pics.

Aren't crows feet and some extra lines enough for a 43 year old Arnold? I thought the whole "looks too young" thing ended when people finally saw pics in natural light.

Wow, seems like this is a pesky problem for a few of us have. Might return mine and just wait out for dx-13.

I still think the head's an odd one - purely because from front on, the head looks round-ish & the eye area has that 'Benicio' thing going on.. yet on other angles the Arnold likeness really stands out (like the pic I quoted).

..& yes - I've seen this figure up close. :wink1:

Yes, well those are your issues with the likeness. The age should be undeniable when you see it in person. Compare it to our T1 T-800 and you see that it has more pronounced age lines that would realistically occur over, at the very least, several years. So if you are using the sculpt for a "younger" Arnold character, it really can't be anywhere within 3 or 4 years of the T1 Arnold, unless you only view it from very far away and take photos that wash out the details.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I think I will be buying my 2nd DX10 this Friday since I want to have the Arnold from the first two acts by the time DX13 comes out :clap
