Damn, that looks sweet :rock

So the bike is just repainted to black right?

Any tutorials on the saddlebags?

Well, I'm really not one to ask about the painting of it. There was a guy in the MMS136 thread who bought and painted up a Honda CB750 Four, the red bike from T1, and he said that the entire thing needs to be painted otherwise it won't meet its full potential, it'll look plastic and toy-like.

My saddlebags are an approximation really. I bought these gasmask bags on ebay that looked about the right shape - they were originally beige and I actually just coloured them in with a black marker. The straps & buckles are 2 of the belts from the T-1000 (not the duty belt with all the gear on it, the other one). They don't have any functional purpose on mine, I was just trying to mimic what I saw in screengrabs. And I added sticky tape cut into strips on the opening flaps of the bag as I noticed a similar detail on the saddlebags in the movie.

I'm pretty sure this is the bag I bought actually:

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Are you still using that T800 neca head for that display or did you already changed it to the DX10 sculpt?

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Still using the NECA. I think the only way to use a DX10 head is to use a DX10 body and there goes the poseability I want and it would put a bit too much weight on the bike too. The other downside of the Tamiya is its fragile. If I ever drop it or accidentally kick it or stand on it I will have a meltdown.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

So is the HT batpod, and most of the other things like tumbler etc. :lol

Whats wrong with the dx10 body, will it be too heavy for the tamiya bike?

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

A big T-800 muscle body puts a little bit of extra stress on it, I once had to glue some parts at the front back together which were coming undone, I suspect due to the weight of the figure (before I had the idea of using a lighter Truetype with padding.

Hi Hydeous, my DX has the real leathers on and I am not using a paperclip on the collar. My motorcycle is the RC New Bright Harley Fat Boy and is a cheaper alternative to the super nice bike a-dev has. It just needs a little work to look movie accurate, which I have not done on mine. Thanks for the compliment about the collar on my jacket cause it took a lot of futzing. :lol

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

IDK the DX13 might come out on time  No other DX on the horizon to get in the way. Personally I think HT are putting too much on their plate and im hoping QC is not going to become a huge issue with future figues. I like my DX10 and all but he keeps walking round in circles. :lol

Any pics of yours or a-dev's on a t-800? :D
mine is still in assembly stage.

I need help!!

If you had to choose just one figure from the MMS 136 and the DX10 Terminators.... Which would you choose??

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Having owned both, I would pick the DX10. But that might be a bit biased considering I just got the DX10 yesterday. :lol

My modest Terminator collection:

Nice. Look at that lovely longer face on the DX10, the difference is actually so slight when compared in person and yet it makes it all the better.

You would find them both excellent figures. I think it'd have to come down to which film you prefer.

Lol!!! It is awesome looking. And I love that its real leather too.

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

I love both films. That's the problem. Lol. I do have 2 T2 neca 6" figures. But no T1 figures at all.

It does look better in that photo.

I really wouldn't mind the sunnies, gloves, mini gun & grenade launcher thingy from this set actually..
