Does the chip actually fit into his head with the shock assembly and cover??

the chip in the head is sculpted/painted in the "inside" position.
do you need a photo?

i think they could easily make the chip extractable, but decided not to.

i do the same. it's cool to just know it's full and "functional" inside.
just be careful not to lose the parts.
the scalp piece is originally designed to keep on the head without its insides. it has a round ledge (?) to fit the head hole and stay there. when you put the last metal skull lid, there's no place for that round part to go in. it sits perfectly and doesn't stick out, but is not fixed.

I put my 2nd dx together yesterday with the new tru type muscle body work's perfect exactly the same as the dx10 . I used the 1st t2 hot toys head and it works kinda except need to pick up the dx10 head because the 1st ht toys t2 head is just a tad smaller with no pers system. So looks good from front but with the original head just not big enough in the back. OH well will work for now until pick the dx10 head.

I had thought if the chip was functional too when I got my first DX10. Again... HT cuts a corner...

I've been busy updating my clean T2 T-800s with what I deem to be the best parts now available to us, namely DX10 heads and bodies and MMS117 jackets. I'd love to be posting a pics update but my christ do these parts seem to be taking their sweet time getting to me. **** is it frustrating. Taking into account previous ebay orders I thought I'd be receiving stuff every working day since last friday and not a thing.

ME thinks it's a mistake. If you look at the proto shots there is no way room for it.

Bought the last dx 10 head from monkey depot for 60 bucks damn ocd now will have 2 perfect dx10 versions.

I've only bought 2 so far, will aim to get a third. I've been updating my MMSes with DX10 parts though so it'll kinda be like I bought that many.

Have this figure and love it. Need a new Schwarzenegger figure from HT to get excited over. Hoping they just drop a teaser for either the 1/4 Dutch or T1 T-800 one of these days.
