I had an overlong post typed up trying to explain my earlier confusion but, ultimately, it doesn't matter. I sent him an email.
so you think only about your own satisfaction, and dozens of people who watched your adventures from the beginning will never know what your ebay page looks like and what options you have :impatient:

it's really, really good you gave that explanation under the picture.

It's actually a little bit more disappointing than I realised - the belt is so dry that it's coming apart/tearing if I try to remove it or adjust it. The pants feel very inflexible like they'll burst if I try any sort of non-museum pose. I could live with the T-shirt because it wasn't my main draw but the pants and belt were important. They were the specific thing I needed most and they're otherwise hard to get these days.

I don't post these to smear the seller because, as I've said, I reckon this probably isn't his fault but here's pics anyway:

I'm not sure I can accept this. I know from experience that the DX10 belt is normally more resistant to damage than this and the leather isn't normally so dry looking (and feeling) and then obviously the T-shirt is not one that I would use because of that staining - except if I were turning it into a BD T-shirt to use on a DX13.

I quote myself only to remind people of what I'm talking about before I ask your recommendations. The seller responded and agrees that some sort of compensation is warranted. He's asking what I would like that to be.

Not sure what to do. To request a return and refund or maybe just a partial refund. I wouldn't necessarily trust a replacement if it's a climate issue.

Thanks guys, I'll see what it will cost to ship it back. It's disappointing, I said earlier that I could accept the T-shirt but really, part-outs are expensive - it's not something I can take lightly to spend so much money on tiny 1:6 clothes for them then to arrive in less than perfect condition. The belt for sure will only get worse.

What were your plans for the parts if you don't mind me asking, just wondering what bash you were planning to put together.

It was to restore a figure to completion after I built a NECA/Hot Toys hybrid figure recently. It had been a Galleria/Pescadero T-800 but I took his body and pants for use on the aforementioned. I was possibly going to turn the restored figure into a T2:Battle Across Time figure so as to have something slightly different.

It's going to cost either 16.80 or 23.05 (euro) to ship back, depending on what tolerance, if any, the post office has for it being slightly over 1kg in weight. (i.e. 23.05 if they have zero tolerance) That blows. I wonder if he'd accept a return of just the clothes because the body itself is in fine condition.

I didn't see that figure, mind posting a photo?

All I can say is ask him, that way its not a total loss to him or you.

That looks pretty damn good actually, I knew you used that head for a bike riding version, looks cool for the mall scene too:clap

I so would have wanted more 12" NECA terminator stuff, T1 & T2 Arnolds, Endo's and T-1000's in all forms, imagine 12" NECA ultimate T-800's:thud:

judging by recent "ultimate" figures, an ultimate 12" T-800 would be 11"?

Are they shorter, I still have mine sealed? Anyway we aren't getting them, all they make now is 7" and 1/4 scale, I don't mind the 7" stuff, but the 1/4 scale stuff is just to obnoxiously big for my collection, not very fun to pose ether.

That's correct. I had built a lighter weight figure dressed in HT clothes and using the NECA head so it could sit on the extremely light and fragile Tamiya Harley without too much worry of it stressing the bike. I later changed that to a DX10 head for consistency across all my figures. However in more recent times I actually dabbled with the idea of selling my Tamiya Harley, taking the idea seriously enough that I dismantled and re-appropriated the bike-rider figure altogether. After changing my mind again, at least for the time being, I opted to rebuild a figure to stand beside the bike. Enter this HT/NECA hybrid. The other motivation for doing this bash I explain in that post in the NECA thread.

i don't have any, but in every Neca thread with "ultimate" figures somebody says they are shorter.
a-dev devoted many posts to the terminator case specifically :)
