Well that actually looks pretty good IMO. Better than they look on MMS117

Mb bcuz MMS117 shades doesn't look like those that was used in the movie and these PSd actually does?!

For me it's def a better looking sculpt. Not "Adam Gu better", but still...

That is a great sculpt, but it does not look that way in all the pics I will admit, maybe the angle or lighting throws off some of the other pics. I have the first release and that is a great sculpt, not perfect, but great non the less. I will be getting this as well because I'm a terminator fan and never bashed this version myself. I am glad to have the pers on this one because it will be fun to get it in to poses like (the trust me as he looks back before destroying the whole police force look) hope that made sence

David's ones did seem more accurately sized and shaped...HT have probably just recycled the old ones though.

I use the shades found on one of the MMS 117's promo pics.
Of course in hands, it will be slightly smaller and chances are it won't look that great.

I like this face better than the first version. A lot better. And I have no problem with HT rereleasing figures for those like me who missed out the first time. My only problem with this is I don't like the accessories this new version comes with. I love the accessories (box of roses, robotic arm) that came with the older version.

But, that's where a lot of people disagree, and it's been discussed ad nauseam in this thread. For a DX, it's just too similar to the original release. It's still a fantastic looking figure though.

I remembered when they first introduced DX06 Jack and saw the smiling version, they made an alteration with the headsculpt along the way before its release to the public. They may make more updates to this set also although I don't see anything wrong with this headsculpt. More like an extra battle damaged headsculpt, box of roses or additions to the background. How far away before they make this release, October? Hopefully they have people/resources to spare for tweeking.

People are mainly upset (myself being one of them) that this isn't the long awaited Battle Damaged version. Ive said this before, but I think HT is just picking up where they left off, and it seems that a BD version is going to happen eventually. Im just happy to see that we are getting more Terminator figures. But in no way is this version shy on accessories imo. He has a freakin MINIGUN!!!

Yeah, we get a minigun -- but the first time we got a box of roses and an alternate arm. The overall amount of accessories is still pretty much the same and since the original figure is recent enough to be considered one of HT's best (meaning the selling point of "improvement" is irrelevant), HT is basically implying that a half-assed base and PERS are worth $70.

Considering that the 2010 version was a mere $165, it was a damn good deal.

Got mine for $150 but yea if I can get it for less than $210 I say it's a damn good deal. Unless if Sideshow comes out with an awesome EX accessory like maybe a BD head???

I really like the concept of this figure, but I just don't like the facial likeness. Judging from these preliminary photos, it looks like their sculptors did a much better job on the upcoming T1 T-800 1/4 scale figure (granted, it's at a different scale).

I think i'm going to get this. It's a great figure! I bet more people are realising that now the dust has settled a bit. Mysef included

I'll sell the first version and replace it with this, that way, I have the 3 main looks represented in my collection, Galleria and BD at 1:4, Cyberdyne at 1:6. Hapy days!

HOw much do it normally cost to ship a Hot Toys-figure from Sideshow to Europe? I think I will buy this one since I missed out on the first T2 Arnie.
