I still have no idea what peoples eyes are seeing but IMO the new sculpt kicks serious ass and is way better than the old Ahhhhhnuld sculpt

He looks pretty good there.

But are the grenades in the bandolier still too small?

They look better than the COOmodels one but I'd prefer them a bit bigger myself. I have a feeling they scaled them to go inside the m79 but the ones Arnie wore on the bandolier apparently were deliberately incorrect for the m79. They went bigger for visual impact.

You got the same big one I have right?

For me, it's one of the reasons I look down on this figure, if they'd nailed it, I'd probably think better of it, but the grenade size is key, Sideshow PF had it, NECA's figure did, but it seems like if there's and m79 you can load, even the bandolier ones must fit in it.

Most people will be fine with it, but to me, the small grenades lose the impact this look had in the movie, he looks like less of a threat.

I did. They're M203 rounds if I'm not mistaken.

Although this would make the PERS useless I think the new sculpt will look much better the v1 with the shades.

These pictures sold me on this figure - I just ordered it on Sideshow. The head-sculpt isn't perfect, but it's far from being horrendous. It looks spot-on to Arnold in certain angles, and the PERS actually adds to the realism when he's holding the mini-gun. But, I guess it's like that with every Hot Toys figure. They never seem to get the likenesses down to perfection, except for a few rare exceptions like Christopher Reeve Superman and Jack Sparrow.

The grenades do look a bit small like many have said, but you can always purchase some more accurate-looking ones on Ebay and sell the ones from Hot Toys. Also, it still sucks that they didn't include a battle-damaged head-sculpt or an endo-arm. But, it still looks incredible for what it is. I'm really looking forward to this release.

I have the first version, and personally LOVE it...I think its a great likeness of Arnold...More so than the T1 version does...These may not be 100% perfect likenesses of him, but they are the best in 1/6 scale....Now, as for the DX version...I think facial wise he looks a bit more like a real "human" than the first one did...Whether it's the skin tone, lines, whatever....Im about 50/50 on the eyes right now, dont know what I really think...So, as others have said, there are aspects of both I like...But I agree that I doubt this will sell out fast, so I will wait for future pics or release pics to make a final decision...Personally, I'd really like this figure too, even with the other one (why I dont know)...So Im really hoping Im pleasantly surprised with this release...

Looks like they did a good job of making it look like they fit.

The rounds are smaller due to the limitations of 1/6. The shells could be made to correct size, but then the M79 would need to be made larger to fit them. Give and take.
