Sorry, but if wanting a licensed product makes me a sucker, well then I am one all day long.

The efx mjolnir is far superior to any other one made thus far.
I don't want a knock off product from a shady company that is committing a criminal
act by selling copyrighted merchandise overseas. No thanks.

At least king arts got the proper license to sell their product.

$800 for a hammer with heft that doesn't look movie accurate.......wow..............you realize it's something at the end of the day that your just gonna observe. Lager hammer about $100 if your not me......I got 5 of em @ $80 a pop. So basically I got 5 hammers for $320 less than your one hammer.......ouch. I hope the weight tickles your fancy.

And the efx mjolnir looks movie accurate to the avengers film.

Can you post an actual film shot of Mjolnir? Can't tell which is the best :lol

The EFX is way more accurate and is indeed a licensed product.

Having said that the price difference is a little extreme, though in this case it would be akin to bragging bout how much cheaper a (knockoff) Luis Vutton purse bought from a street corner vendor is to one bought at Saks 5th Avenue.

Which leads back to my head scratching over how the (unlicensed) Lager Cap shield can be $100 MORE than the EFX one. Even with the differences in material cost (and FTR Aluminium is one of the cheaper metals out there so fibreglass could conceivably cost more) the Lager shields should be $200-$300 IMHO. It is not like they are paying Disney or the film's prop team for the use of the intellectual and processing properties.

Thanks for posting those, matches... My point exactly. The efx is a licensed replica of the avengers version of mjolnir,
And as such... Is pretty damn accurate to what thor wielded in the film. Saying that it is not accurate at all and
Is just priced that way because of the heft is crap.

And you are so right about the lager shields. I would never pay what they are asking for an unlicensed
Product. And while the king arts ones are licensed... Not having any kind of edition or individual
Numbering is kind of a turn off, IMO.

No worries.

For me it is the inaccuracies with the look and colour of King Arts (classic) Cap shields. They are fabulous looking Cap shields but not what I know and love from on-screen in the MCU.

I have both the Lager and eFX hammers, and imo the eFX is hands down the better replica.

I bought the Lager version after I bought the eFX version as the eFX version is quite a bit heavier and I had a slight rattling sound when I tipped the hammer over. So getting the Lager version gave me a hammer I could swing (not that I do that of course) without having to worry about the weight or the rattle, and I could put my eFX version in a more or less permanent display case.

The Lager version is cheap (in price), but given that the mold is quite good, but with the price the paint app was as expected. A little while back I saw/read that someone on the forum was offering a leather mod to the hilt which seemed to enhance the Lager hammer.

But given the price difference it's understandable why many people would get the Lager version over the eFX version. And of course the Lager version is based off of the Dark Worlds version which imo had a better handle/shaft/pommel design.

Is there something you can compare the fiberglass of the eFx shield to, like if you knock on it for example, what does it sound like?

That is a tough one. It has a very very unique feel; and now I find myself knocking on things to try and find you a comparable:lol
I will say that it has a significant depth and weight to it. Does not at all feel plasticky or cheap to the touch or by heft in any regard.

I am anxious to get mine Tuesday to see how this fiberglass construction feels, as well.

After going back and forth so many times, I hope that I love the efx shield enough to just be happy with that and mjolnir in my collection...
Liking the fact that they are both from the same company, screen accurate, well built... and both numbered editions.

Thanks Matches for the post, definitely seems eFx takes the cake on this one. Plus, as noted by others being officially licensed and numbered only adds value imo. ;)

I :lol at this. Lager while good value doesn't even hold a candle to the eFX Mjolnir, not even close. And the movie accuracy comment... :slap
