Number 136/500 in the house.

Lovely piece, usual eFX quality which I can't fault. Really like the fact it's signed, I mean that's the most screen accurate double light saber you'll find and Mr Darth Maul himself has signed it, and it's 299, oh and only 500 for them. I think seeing how much the others go for on eBay (with higher EX's!) this one will appreciate nicely, not that I care about selling collectibles. Would love to get a few more like Obi-wan, but after-market prices are a bit steep for my liking.

Shame it doesn't 'work', I would pay double for a working one;)

Really well packed btw,

Snagged a custom made cover today for this one....now I just need to buy one. :) BBTS still has that great price on these so I'll pick it up soon.

thanks for the pics Dr. Lexus....except you have me really liking those GG Star Wars statues now. :gah:

Haha, yeah the GG stuff is fun, I like it, wish they had more like that.

I'd definitely recommend it though, in this day and age when the price of everything in collectibles seems to be going through the roof, it's a good deal.

Case has a tiny movement but perfect. I bought it from a great guy from over at the RS Forums.

Check out the bottom of the page in this link for measurements people used (post #467)....it's not exact lengths so I'd hate to measure it wrong.

Thanks. I saw that post but I don't want to get the measurements wrong either. It sounds like those measurements would work but I think I might just bring the base into a custom acrylic place and have them measure it so its exact. But yours looks great though.

I would do just that if I were you....a lot of tiny increments and the width of the acylic panels themselves to factor in. I love it. So glad I was able to grab one from the guy who was selling them.

I had one of these and it was TOP notch. I LOVED everything about it except that it didn't light up. ^_^

So I sold, it only because I have a machined light up version that's ALMOST perfect in every dimension. It was made before the EFX came out, so the only different is the distance between ribs on the emitter ends. Just slightly off if EFX's are perfect accurate (which they should be).

I also used to have the MR, and the EFX while not metal, just kills it for awesomeness.

I still kind of regret selling it, but I couldn't justify having two Mauls displayed. And at least this one can be played with. But here's some pics of both:

Only those ribs are slightly closer together on the light up version

What are everyone's thoughts on this? Is it worth getting? I'm not a fan of resin replicas, but the MR version is getting higher in the aftermarket.
