Romania shipping: $690. I got my own quote from FedEx US and FedEx Romania and both said $710 and $725. Add to that all the taxes and customs charges (where they will tax the $700 shipping quote too, thus a tax on a tax), VAT 24% and you have a hell of an expensive helmet. NO helmet is worth that much unless it is a LFL helmet from the archives itself. Thanks a lot greedy FedEx, hope you go belly up soon!

Afterall, the legend is essentially some factory painter's interpretation of the original since he/she is the one who is actually hand painting certain parts of the mask.

My stance as well since the beginning. I just prefer the flat look of the ANH version without all the added dings, dents, and scuffs. And with free shipping from Redford Films, this was a no brainer. I can't wait for this

It's not really up to "interpretation" with the amount of QC that eFX is doing on this. It's been pretty painstaking. They spent months perfecting the process with the factory. Then they were personally, thoroughly QC'ing each and every Legend helmet at the factory and are also spot-checking them when they reach the States. There's probably never been this much Quality Control on a licensed Star Wars item ever. The Limited will be cool and not chopped liver, but the Vader ANH Legend helmet is poised to be the ultimate licensed SW collectible.

Sucks about the ridiculously expensive additional costs for overseas collectors, though.

You only have to verify the last few digits. They have yout complete card number on file in your account.
