I think he was just saying that the Vader is unlikely to be less than Malgus (and I would agree). As nice as the Legend is, I don't expect it to command $6K anytime soon.

I was told that you can take a long eraser (pic below) and rub out the shiny spot(s) and then lightly rub with a soft cloth and it'll magically be cured.

Wow it never fails to amaze me every time I see pics of this piece. I'm really kicking myself in the *** for passing on the Legend for the limited. The only bonus was I was able to get two Limited for just a wee bit more than the Legend.

I don't like the fake brush strokes paint job. It brings down the authenticity of the helmet in my view.

I am puzzled by this statement. can you elaborate? My undersanding is that the "fake" paintjob is identical to what was used in the movie.

Opened my Legend this week, no styrofoam rubs but can't say I am happy with it:
My apologies for my poor photoskills :)

The inside lining could have been done with some more care:

Sorry to see this Dutch, the minor things on the paint should not be much of an issue IMO as dings and scratches are part of the design and I'm sure all will not be exactly the same , but the inside lining and the lens scratch ? That's another matter , that should not have happened , could you get a replacement ? I wonder ?

Yeah definitely ask for a replacement. That inside lining is shaped to fit sloth from the Goonies.

In the original movie, the brush strokes were real brush strokes, because the helmet was painted in many areas by hand. The EFX version appears to have manufacutured the look of brush strokes with a spray process as opposed to having some kid in asia paint it by hand.
