I suppose everyone has been a fan since they were little. My Mom loves to tell the girls I'm with all about how I would drop everything and stare at the tv when Elvira would come on. I rented Mistress of the Dark so man times from the video store that they ended up letting me keep it. I loved both the PF and the ET pieces, but could only afford the latter. I don't necessarily believe that the piece has to be an accurate likeness in the vein of Hot Toys or Sideshow. I feel they did her justice with what was released. I know she usually shows up at SDCC and I cannot wait to meet her if she's there.

I wanted to order this so bad when it came out, but was unable to at the time. I've had it on my waitlist and can now say I can remove it. Elvira EX is mine! A wonderful member here has sold it to me and for a darn great asking price. I am blessed. When she arrives I will post photos. I am such a huge Elvira fan and this really is like getting a grail.
I just got one too finally, having actually returned my Ex initially because I thought it was too cartoony. I got the distressed one they offered earlier this month since I am going to customize her anyway.

The only question now is, what is she doing? I've thought of sculpting an albino python to wrap around her (not happening), giving her a heart to be drinking blood from with a straw, having her hold a large Coors can to being drinking from or just holding a six pack (probably not happening either, giving her a severed limb to be examining, giving her a 1/4 Jason mask, or... I just don't know. I'm open to suggestions, so let me hear some. The best feasable idea will become a reality. Don't be shy, but don't be crude either. No kielbasa references.

That would be a thick kielbasa! Where did her spider or bat go? Was it easily removable?
I only needed the regular version with bat to make this work, and the bat had less actual connecting surface to the finger. The finger in front of the rind and the bat were cast as one piece of clear flexible material. The finger was already mostly broken off, so I removed it and Dremeled away at the bats feet. Then I just needed to sand down Elvira's finger, paint match it, and glue it back on with a reinforcing rod.
I still have the bat and was thinking of using the wings as a removable accessory for Elvira kinda like an old picture of her I can't seem to find anymore where she had bat wings on.

Speaking of the Bat and Spider. I prefer the bat, but pose with the spider. I feel the bat covers too much of her face. She's definitely amazing and I cannot believe that the day she arrived ((yesterday) fury sold her to me) her waitlist on sideshow converted for me. Like, seriously?

But you got a sweet deal. And about the bat, I felt the exact same way until I positioned her on a shelf just in front of my line of sight from my computer desk where she was peeking enough through the bat's wings that made me happy. Both are great though and it's nice to switch it up every now and then.

I must have been living under a rock. This is amazing. Going to have to add her to my want list - hopefully the wife won't kill me when I track one down.
You know what...she looks better in person. From photos I really thought she looked a bit too animated. And while her makeup sort of gives us that impression, in person, she looks fabulous. If I ever had to sell my collection, she'd be one of the last to go.

Congrats on getting Elvira, BuffyGirl!
She's a beautiful statue for sure and one of my prized pieces. Elvira EX was my first SS PF statue. I missed out getting her when she was first available, but was lucky enough to find one MIB off eBay for $158 last year.
I have her displayed with the spider right now.
