What happened to the 30 day notices?

Yeah I'm sick of Sideshow not notifying us 30 days out. At first they had exact monthly ship dates, then they started missing those dates and moved on to quarterly dates with up to date notices in the newsletter and at the least, 30 day prior notices, now they're missing these quarterly dates, no up to date info in the newsletters, and not sending notices until 10 days out. Sideshow is slowly declining into unacceptable disarray.

I guess me and Bonehead are the only ones really looking forward to all the Endor Troopers.

I'll gladly post pics if I can manage to afford them, which might be later then others here. I've loved the look of Endor soldiers ever since watching the film in a theater back in 83'.

The sad thing is that if I had known these were comming I would have made sure I had the money to cover them, now I'll have to cancel.

I just hope that all the cancels and moaning that went on about these, doesn't make Sideshow want to do less army builders in the future. I think plenty of people would buy up different types of Clones and Imperials, as well as droid and alien related soilders.

I had already cancelled the bundle; now I'm trying to decide whether I want to hold onto the Squad Leader or Nik. I'm leaning towards Nik; I've always had a weak spot for the character.

I figure these are not going to be that hard to track down later, especially the normal trooper.

I actually think it's really cool that they're doing all three of these, but I just can't absorb the cost of them all at once so soon after getting Jabba'ed (and Jabba and his set-up was a "must have" for me), and there are ED-209's and Robocops to be had soon. Too much good stuff all clumped together....

Unfortunatly Ill be calling tomorrow to cancel mine. Its not that I dont want them, I really do. It's that there was absolutely no advance notice and my credit card is near the limit. Oh how I miss 30 day notices.

Sad that Sideshow is grossly dropping the ball on these notices. Over time, it's just going to bite them in the a** in terms of their reputation and cancellations. Now I find myself wondering if my exclusive Asajj pre-order is going to hit unexpectedly too. I'll find the $$ for it since it's not too much, but I'll start ordering from e-tailers in the future instead if it means having a little more notice.

This is partly what is turing my focus to JUST OT characters and specifically OT characters that were originally vintage figures. I may be waiting for annoucements more, but I wont be getting pounded with figures I currently am short for, hence the cutting of the ERTs. Ill just get them on eBay later.

I really hate to do it. Maybe I'll just cancel the Bundle and get the two exclusive Troopers from Sideshow and get the regular one from online stores later on? That may leave enough to get Ghost Rider.

Yawn............................. ordered and cancelled in the same week when they came out. My least favorite of the OT movies and my definite second least favorite battle (just slightly in front of Gungans vs Droids). Glad we're finally getting some REAL OT characters...

I gave these the axe a long time ago. ZERO interest in them. if you like them cool and congrats on getting them, but they were just WAY too generic for me.
