Yep , happening all over Manchester now just as I expected , it's all over the news. They've even smashed up the Forbidden Planet I visit now and then.
My friend sent me a few photos he'd taken himself , here they are.

They've smashed up and looted from JD , Foot Asylum , Cash Generator just to name a few.

Nahh..I'm very left leaning as well, but if you see someone: torching a business, hurting an innocent person, looting a business or just causing mayhem and you're armed...only one option. And if you are the cops and your life is in danger by some spoiled chavs? Fire away boys...

I heard it mentioned but from the looks of things it's not looking likely yet. I think they're hoping it will die down as long as they keep pushing them away. It looks to have only gotten worse so far using this method though. Time will tell I suppose.

When I was 13 me and my cousion were robbed and spit on by 3 big 20 odd year olds at a bus stop. The police basically didn't even aknowledge us. I have nothing against them myself but when you can practically murder someone here and get a light sentence they're asking for stuff like this. The laws here aren't firm enough imo.

I also don't like to point fingers but I grew up on a council estate myself and the guys who would cause trouble daily seemed to be the one's who would never seem to be at home because their parents were either not there or couldn't care less.

The problem here imo is mainly an influence with gang culture on most young people to fit in nowadays , bad parenting and really you can get away with being a drug dealer , trouble causing gangster wannabe type. Hell , I know a guy who goes around selling weed out of his car and makes around £200.00 a week on top of having a job. He's never had a problem doing it in his life.
Maybe he's just lucky and I'm not saying I agree with what these guys are doing obviously but it seems way to easy to be a criminal nowadays to me.


These guy's aren't angry about someone being killed even if most of them can relate to him. They're doing it because they can.

Things like this are easy to take control of, well not easy, but can be done. This could be over already if cops had started shooting into the crowds, it's harsh, but gets the point across. Trust me if cops shot a few knee caps gaurantee most rioters will run home, but we are civilized nations so we can't do that. that law makes the people act uncivilized because they are in control.

So you have compassion for all the people who are doing this. A bullet in the leg will teach them a lesson, and probably end this. i'm not saying for them to do that, but it wouldn't be a bad idea seeing this is getting worse. Situatiions like this are lose lose no matter how it is handled.

It does say London has been quieter tonight so hopefully it will stay that way and the other places will die down also. The fact that it's spread though might start them off in London again after their days break. Lets hope not.

You triple the police force, like they just did, and go in with a lot of tear gas, and use rubber bullets, and start hauling people off to jail. Bring the military in if you must. You don't shoot/kill/maim anyone, unless you're a dictator or China. England would never resort to the violence you propose, especially in the public eye.

Trust me, I'm no hippy/anarchy sympathizer, but civilized society doesn't kill it's misbehaving civilians, it throws them in jail and has the taxpayer foot the bill.

I fear that when the US starts to finally make the necessary cuts in order to balance the deficit, stuff like this may happen here.
