****ing gutted seeing the Real equaliser going in but you could see it happening.

I just don't understand it when teams don't put defenders on the post for corners. Had Athletico done that they would be picking that cup up now

Well for around pouring 1 billion, multiple time transfer records broken, careers ended from Owen, to ****... finally Real did win the CL after a gap of 12 years. No point arguing they deserved it over the other teams.

Yeah I liked the way Ronaldo only started showboating and doing the step overs when Real were 3-1 up, what a pretentious idiot, I was hoping Simeone would come on and deck him.

Yeah I just can't stand them. There 100's of millions in debt, they get bailed out by the Spanish government when in trouble, they get government tax breaks were other Spanish teams don't, suck up most of the Tv money & basically ruin any chance of any other Spanish team being able to build a squad with the exception of Barca.

And the way they chase there transfer targets is pretty classless

That's probably why I don't like them. Oh & that slimy greasy Ronaldo plays for them, who just makes me want to puke looking at him :monkey4

Another reason I hate Real is because of comments like these

"La Decima shows that, while there are teams that rise like Bayern, Manchester and Barca, Real Madrid are always there."
Florentino Perez

Oh **** off you ****. Real have done barely anything in Europe this past decade

Gattuso, one of Milan's working class midfielders had a wisecrack which was like "Real Madrid won most of their trophies when my grandmom was a teenager' Honestly when they say 10 European Cups, 6 of them came in a period when they were the only team who afforded the highest paying wages in Football and most others still had amateurs. They bought whoever from Ferenc Puskas, to Di Stefano, beat clubs who sent in weaker teams because they were still not convinced of the credibitliy of an European Cup and focused on the traditional domestic competitions instead.

In all honestly this is their 3rd European trophy in the Champions League era. If there is a club who are actually the most amount of time winners of the European Cup its Milan. They won the tournament maximum times when it finally gained some credibitlity and constituted of teams who were fiercely competitive at a standard level.

Still cant believe how Atletico lost that game? They seemed to tense up in the last few minutes, understandable I guess. I remember I think Koke just booted the ball down field on about the 90th minute when he could of just laid it off to a team mate to run the clock down a bit. Plus the free kick they had in extra time which they just played into the Real Keepers hands, maybe should of passed it off to a team mate and run the clock down.
The corner from which Real scored was a bit of a shambles too from Atletico, looked like they were doing zonal marking

Liverpool will still always be the most successful English team. If Rodgers spends the money on the right players over the next few seasons I fancy us to lift number 6 before another English team wins the competition.

Hmmm im not so sure. Even though it was a great season, they need 4 or 5, maybe 6 huge players to do that and to get where City and chelsea are . And then you have to take into consideration those 2 will invest big and that Perez has already probably given Suarez a shirt number .
If Liverpool do fairly well in the champs league and get in the top 4, that would be a massive achievement next season.

Maurizo Pochettino is named head coach of Tottenham. I actually think this is the best managerial appointment Tottenham have made in a long time.

Well since we appointed Harry anyway. I like him. I like his brand of football and he seems to be very well liked. If we could bring a couple of they're players aswell, that would be great. But tough on the Saints.

Good coach but still, I give him 2 years at most. Levy thinks that Spurs should be challenging for the title every season and that top four should be a given for them so he will sack him and move on to the next man. City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd & Spurs will all be challenging for the top four next season, it's going to be a tough one.

I hope they give him time. If they do, I think he could lead them into a successful era.

Well levy has given him a 5 year deal and with the new stadium build, they cant keep sacking and paying out..
Also we may actually start to play and see the best of Lamela, his fellow countryman. He will certainly bring attacking, high pressure football which the fans like. Could be a great time for us. Hopefully lol
