All we can suppose is that EB felt they couldn't offer more than what they did without upping the price to what they thought people just wouldn't pay.

The sculpt and paint applications for this remind me of the regular T-800 they did. Big ole' forehead/hair, dead, glazed over eyes, nasty looking flesh with pink tones. They're like brothers.


This guy doesn't really impress me. For 1/4 scale, the tailoring and fit of those clothes looks as good or worse than the 1/6 version. That wag finger has some sausage digit syndrome too. What I do like though is the glitchy boot and doughnut head, they're great. Those are the stand out of the set. The rest? Eh, not really seeing $480 there, especially with the lack of accessories.

I think that was in reference to my post. HT didn't provide the donut head with MMS129, you had to buy a whole different figure to get that.

But they nevertheless did provide 2 heads (like EB have) plus everything needed to make 3 seperate looks.

I was not expecting the bike outfit but come on at least the full officer outfit/gear.
At least give the possibility to pose with both released T800.

Definitely most excited about that donut head. Although I plan to alternate I reckon i'll more often go BD with this figure.

I will probably end up getting this guy sometime down the road. Just not anytime soon as I'd rather get the EB Robocop figure first. You guys think the T1000 will still be available at retail in about 3-4 months? Maybe even a little longer depending on when Robocop is released?

Maybe...but did we ever have to make such rationalisations with the BD T-800 sculpt? I don't think we did. All I'm saying is, objectively speaking, this sculpt isn't as good as that one at being who its supposed to be. I'm not saying it can't look good. It does however look plain weird in some shots.

I still don't like the tailoring..needs to look crisper and have nicer cleaner stiching...

Don't care for the bullet squibs on HT's T-1000 but think they look worse in a bigger format. The edges sit so far from the clothing that it really gives away the application. Think they could've come up with something a little more convincing.
