Regarding accessories, while it's nice to reward customers who purchased the previous version, no release should be dependent on another release to be complete or make the accessories useful.

Just glad they were first so HT will resculpt analogous head b4 the release and kick EB silly ass... YET AGAIN
Doesn't matter for me personally. I treat these as statues. Pose them with the accessories provided and leave them.
But for people who like to play with them then I can see a problem.
I am yet so see HT produce a terminator that beats EB Original T800.

You don't make a lot of sense. I don't have a problem. Most of the accessories on the HT version will never see daylight.

Exactly how I feel.
I can't remember the last time someone came over to my house and pointed out that -
"it wasn't until 90 minutes into the movie that this part of his face was missing and he couldn't possibly have used the Gatlin gun at that stage..."

It does'nt really matter if random people who come over someones house can't point out issues with figures, these are made for fans not passer's by, thats who buy these. No ones saying these accessoires should not be included, its more the fact that they did not include the extra jacket, extra head, and correct grenade launcher to make those accessoires useful unless you have another figure from there line

But no one is forcing people to buy it. I think for the scale, the sculpt, the clothing and the paint, the price would be acceptable even without the mini gun, shirt and arm. The only nitpick I have is not including a damaged m79. That doesn't make sense to me.

on a personal note. this is my first enterbay collectable and im a tad annoyed that im buying a BD piece that comes with the "clean" version accessories.
it doesn't matter how you dress it up, at the end of the day this is a BD version that comes with non of the relevent parts!
however as annoyed as i am about that im still purchasing purely on the fact that the sculpt is outstanding!

just saying that it was an odd choice to include items that can't be used and not include the correct weapons for the scene there going for
The figure itself looks great and will look great on any fans shelf, just not well thought out is all.

I dunno. I just think, who cares? and yes I realise people ARE that ****. I've got a 3 shelves with boxes full of crap Hot Toys extra's. I'm a fan and I don't give a toss what it comes with. My priority is to have a great looking piece for my collection.
This is that good , it's like someone just told you that Angelina Jolie wanted to sleep with you and you knocked her back because she was wearing jeans instead of a skirt....
When I see that pic I hear Arnie in my head saying 'goodbye'.

I agree. When you picture a battle damaged T2 in your head, what do you see? Him with half his face missing, part of his left arm gone, endo chest exposed, left knee endo exposed, an empty bandolier and a grenade launcher. This has all of those (except damage on the M79) so it depicts that image pretty much bang on IMO.

It reminds me of the bank robber joker release. Which came with the machine gun that wasn't seen in the bank robbery scene, and a headsculpt to replace the POS that came with the V1 joker. And much the same as this situation, i like that they did that since i was an owner of V1 joker. I changed up and improved the original release, and got a new figure too...win/win?

Unfortunately EB is producing sculpts better than HT now. look at there batman figures and see what they're doing with Django Unchained figures. HT needs to really step it up. HT also has just as much if not more QC issues than EB has. HT better step up their game because EB is getting better and better.
