Them's great pics DEATHASYLUM.

I know you are not asking me personally but again, it's the same with Robocop. This Terminator is better than the DX15 in terms of how imposing and spectacular it is. The DX13 is a better action figure in my opinion.

Great pics, brother! :clap

I have to do this to you, but if you HAD to choose between this and DX13, which would you choose?

Thanks buddy :duff

You can't choose only one :lol Come on Yankee, you've been around here long enough to know that :wink1:

Thanks man. I like them all and enjoy each piece for what it brings to the table for us collectors. This figure is amazing and the DX13 is amazing. In fact I think EB and HT have both done their best figures with the battle damaged T2 Arnie :wink1: Nothing but win for us.

If would have the Hoy Toys version any day.

I have actually boxed up my DX10 T2 regular (with a bunch of flowers from the first T2), which is a figure I really like but and I am preparing to sell it as I have both Enterbays which cover the 'same looks' and am fast running out of room. I hope I won't regret it.

I personally love the Enterbays but I have come to realise that my collection would be much tidier if I stuck to just 1:6.

How are you guys managing the mix of scales?

How are you guys managing the mix of scales?

Well I display them separately, I'm not really worried about the collection looking untidy on account of a mixture of scales. What I'd worry about is the financial side of trying to collect all scales. I've kept that under control though, operating a strict one-of-each policy (at least of high-end figures, I've got 3 NECA Jungle Hunter Predator variants). Also at high end I only have the Terminator figures - EB clean T-800, EB BD T-800, EB T-1000, HT Endoskeleton - aaaaand by the looks of it HT and EB are gonna make it easy for me to limit myself to that.

Most of my 1/6 is in detolfs and the bigger stuff goes on a long table and I rotate items in and out. My main problem is not enough space to display everything at the same time, or that I have bought too much and need to stop!!! depending on how you look at it :lol I definitely limit my 1/4 purchases now and go for 1/6 most of the time.

What is there to buy at 1:4 anyway? It died a death. EB have seemingly stopped doing movie figures and HT were only arsed with the scale to knock EB out of the business. Job done and now HT has stopped too.

If you're not into SW, then nothing. :lol

There's always Ledger Joker and an Ah-nuld, in some iteration, but those are, at the moment, just rumors, speculation and wishful thinking.

I was waiting on the EB 1/4 Rocky, but I think that ship has sailed  Things that I would love to have in 1/4, but decided against it are EB Bruce Lee & the T-1000. Expensive figures with my limited space means that there is only room for Arnie & Sly in the bigger scales.

Superb job on the photos DA. Really great work - that is one basass figure you have there. Any plans to have all your 1/4 stuff on display again?

Amazing pictures of an amazing figure, DA! :clap

How are you guys managing the mix of scales?

I'm like a-dev and display my 1/4 and 1/6 scale collections separately, so everything looks pretty tidy for me. I started out collecting only 1/4 scale, so I never really set any rules for myself (although I really wish I had - anyone who's seen pics of my 1/4 collection would probably understand why :lol)

The rules I have set for myself are mainly limited to my 1/6 collection. My 3 "strict 1/6 scale" rules are: no duplicates, only figures from movies I love, and only figures that are not available in 1/4 scale. I've already broken 2 of these rules (got the 1/6 HT robocop - already have the EB 1/4 robocop, picked up the ASM figure and hated the movie). As you can tell, self-discipline is not one of my fortes. :slap

Thank you sir :)

Same here. Sold my DX13 and never looked back. There's just something about the IMPOSING presence of this guy compared to the HT version, which is still amazing.

^Fran, do you still own any 1/6 Terminator figures? Just curious since I was tempted to start collecting 1/6 terminator figures (since there are just so many cool options available) but didn't know if they'd ultimately be a let down when comparing them to their 1/4 scale counterparts.

Not anymore. Sold my DX10 and DX13 since the EB 1:4 is more than enough representation of the character to me (T2)

I really wanted the Shootout Arnie to be 1:4 like HT promised, but, oh well. I might still get it down the road...

I wouldn't call the 1/6 offerings a letdown. Thy are just not as amazing looking compared to the 1/4 versions imo. YMMV, of course.

Well we say there seems to be no more 1:4 scales but have folks seen that pic of a supposed Buba Fett 1:4 scale figure from Hot Toys?

The 1:4 scale is definitely evil as I tend to want them all.

Yeah, I also wish HT would make the 1/4 shootout Arnie. I just wish HT and EB would make more 1/4 figures period. Really hope 1/4 isn't dead, but it seems that way since nothing really (movie-related) has been released/announced since 1/4 robocop.

Hahahaa, I feel ya Eamon. I want them all as well. Do you have a link to the 1/4 Boba Fett?? I had no clue that was in the works.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the thread. That is amazing and an instant buy for me IF it's real.
