Considering it was one of very few licenses they apparently had I wonder why EB didn't milk T2 a bit more. Would have been all over a semi-BD sculpt of this same standard as well as another clean one. That first clean sculpt had issues.

I would definitely buy the semi bd look!!! and endoskeleton (if done right) :lol Passed on the HT version :wink1: The eyes and hair really hurt the clean sculpt.

They must have figured that the engineering involved in an endoskeleton would be beyond their capabilities. A pity because their actual sculpting might have been more accurate. We'll never know.

When I first got this figure I was drooling at the thoughts of a semi-BD based on how much of a leap the sculpt was over their original clean figure. Woulda been so cool. Alas.

Your probably right cause EB can't make a body worth a s***!!! Endoskeleton would have been a nightmare for them. I would love to see them tackle that semi bd look. Only question is how do they paint the eyes on that one. A true scanning pose would be a tough one if the eyes are straight ahead, or impossible if painted looking in the wrong direction :horror

That wouldn't be a problem since the scanning pose would be impossible anyway because of EB's crappy bodies :D Try to pose the arm outstretched holding the M79, even if you can do this without snapping the shoulder joint it'll just drop anyway due to the weight of the gun :lol

Is it worth it to buy directly from EB? Are there still issues with the batches coming out? Or should I look for one of the first edition ones?

I haven't been keeping up with this thread but I've been dying to get a BD T-800 to go with my first EB T-800! :drool

I got mine at BBTS without any issues. I have bought from EB a few times and they send you the shipping notice email, after the figure has already been delivered :slap :lol Order there at your own risk. Any QC issues with them and your waiting at least a month too :lecture

I have been wanting to get this for some time now and finally pulled the trigger on this one. :yess:

Great choice man. I was in the same boat and finally picked one up at the beginning of the month. It's freakin fantastic!!! :panic:
