If I had a tight budget, I would have started to save for it back then... and if the final production piece or prototype didn't meet my expectations, i would skip it. Then i'd have 350 saved up to either keep aside for the next expected item which i don't need to save for anymore. Or be fully worry-free and make my purchase if it meets my standards.

Although Enterbay does release after the official photos come out, they announce most of what they are going to make months in advance. I mean, even though we don't have any teasers, we still know Rocky and Robocop will be coming... and if i was interested, i'd start saving by now.

VERY WELL SAID, SIR. :exactly:

I'm not sure I can wait for OSB for this one :lol even though there is electronics in it. Which kind of does suggest this is definitely a figure you should hold back on ordering :lol

Buying 2x of this & keeping both of my original EB T-800.

Pity it's being released so close to christmas, means we won't get it till new year. I honestly think it looks like an amazing achievement.

It's been a while.

We don't need rolling eye balls. Looking real is enough.

That is an amazing display of figure making at its best, the sculpt, the paint, the attention to detail. I don't know how EB's work can be so above any other mass market company but man do they nail it. I see EB an Blitzway rising in the coming years.

Sculpt is way better than their first T-800.

Can't expect the paint apps to translate as great in production though.

Rambo's paint apps look better in-hand than they do in the production pics imo. I don't own any other EB products so I can't compare with their other releases, but from what I can tell, the paint apps definitely will come close if not match the prototype. If anything im worried about getting a faulty body or shotty "LED-light" etc.

You don't post much on Terminator stuff anymore^

Hope to see you back more often :)

God damn it, i've just got the batman and joker, had the T-800 since its release, now i need this too. Gonna have to buy a 4th detolf, no room in my existing setup.

This is a must-buy, but not sure if I wanna go through EB again after the whole Batman incident.

It really is amazing but I've felt it would be this way since that first teaser.

Face it Dane, there is no gettting out of 1/4 scale with stuff this awesome coming out and just obliterating the collectible competition.

The Enterbay Batman Begins is also making me feel this way, and to a lesser extent their Joker as well.

Yeah, I have no problem passing on the 1/4 Drake PF because as awesome as it is, I'm confident that SSC is going to make a 1/6 figure that (with maybe a little work) will be just as awesome. This on the other hand...I'm not 100% sure HT is going to produce a 1/6 BD T2 T800 and (if they do) it will match the level of accuracy EB has achieved here, so this is definitely a must have. If either HT or EB release a 1/6 version that holds a candle to this, I'll most likely sell the 1/4 off for (hopefully) not much of a loss. :exactly:

It looks to be the same sculpt just with the damage added? Which is what I really like. If it was hot toys or some other company it would probably be a completely new sculpt. With it being the same one it will display so much better IMO.

Or do you just mean it looks better because of the damage :lol

Wait is it actually the same sculpt :lol

I highly doubt it's the same sculpt. Looks worlds different to me.

I'm with A-Dev, I for one never expected this to be out this year let alone this side of Christmas, Hot Toys way of releasing products is much better

To be fair, EB announced this guy back in April with an "Oct. 2012" preorder date.

I'm a bit confused on the December 21st date...is it actually coming out that day, going up for pre-order, or are we simply getting a full reveal??

either way, I WILL have this. This is THEE grail piece for me. I can almost stop collecting figures after this

...key word, "almost" :wink1:

Which they didn't meet. And likely were never going to based on past experience.

Who knows, maybe we wouldn't have even been shown this new pic if HT hadn't just released DX10.

I am surprised at the lack of retaliation from HT. Not even a **** photoshop job announcing their version to come out in 2014? Get it together HT.

I'd so love that. Especially if it was to come out in 2014. Most people would rather next year, I know.

True, true. Their Rambo was on time, then again I can't remember if they specified the release date when they first revealed the sculpt or when the official completed pics were up.

Agreed. Hello Maul.:wave

Thanks guys, I still love this franchise and products, but having sold off my HT collection to get the clean EB and having to sell that, I've just been distant from this site in general, bought a house in July and new collectibles just haven't been in the cards. I do hope things can work to get this figure though. you both know how much I like the T2 BD.
