SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM SHANNON LEE!
"Hi Everyone,
My father passed away 38 years ago today. I would like to take this opportunity to pause and remember him, his energetic spirit and phenomenal life, with a moment of thoughtfulness and grateful intention. I hope you will watch today's vlog in honor of my father and his inspiring life and also see how you can help be a part of keeping his legacy alive. Thank you for your time today.

Much love,
Shannon"
Thanks Ahgnus. I'm gonna watch the clip :D

Y4NK33, I think that (if I am not mistaken [again...]) this picture is an off scene shot of Bruce chilling between the shoots in the front yard of the Big Boss house (in Pak Chong, Thailand).
Pretty interesting, would love to know what was going through his head at that moment. :D

Got my repainted heads back from Enterbay, as well as the special nunchucks that were missing from my figure (but which I hadn't asked about). Beautiful repaints, but it'll be the weekend at the earliest before I can shoot pictures again. Very nice paint work though, no complaints whatever. I'd packaged them very carefully for the trip, and I guess Enterbay's painters approved. They came back in my original packaging, and protected exactly as I had done it.

That is great news Gruff Old Bear ! I am very happy that everything turned out good and that your set is now complete without any rub stains.

...and you who didn't want to bother sending the heads back in the first place.... Hehe... I hope this was a good experience, which actually just goes to show that things can work out if you are willing to go the extra mile - and that Enterbay do really take care of their customers if you give them a fair chance

Thank you for proving my point !

I am looking forward to those new pictures !

I haven't heard from EB yet about the two new bodies I ordered (don't let Gung know).

Great to hear they are shipping them now!

I got the extra body from EB today :D Along with the shoes, socks & bracelet, it also comes with 2 closed fists :D

Also, I'm not 100% sure, since I don't have the original body with me, but the texture on the new body feels different to what I remember. Maybe more hard/firm (this might be a good thing :dunno ). I think my original body had a softer feel to it. Maybe they changed the sort of rubber they used :dunno Might be a bit more durable. Again, it could be in my head :D

Edit: & the shoelaces are tied :D

Also, I noticed that the closed fists that come with the RMX body, to me, seem to have a different paint job compared to the expo set closed fists. The knuckles on the hands that came with the RMX body, seem to have a BD feel to them. The knuckles have a pinky red paint job on them, which looks like the hands have been punching something solid :D

I should only get 4 bodies to go with the 4 head sculpts, but I feel like getting more than 4. I'm not even sure why :D

This is just a thought for those of you who wants to be creative and needs to decorate the wall behind your Bruce Lee figures, there is a cool plaque set that Bruce had made which should represent his martial arts concept of Jeet Kune Do that hanged in his Chinatown school in Los Angeles, which is pretty cool, and the Bruce Lee Club in Hong Kong made replicas of. (wow, that was a looooong sentence... hehe...) This replica set was made in two sizes: one in the exact size, and one smaller version (though this is NOT a 1/6 scale miniature set made for figures).

If anyone is interested I can either hook you up with the Bruce Lee Club in Hong Kong directly or forward the eBay addresses which I am not posting here as the listing might end or get old.

I have done some playing around on photoshop trying to find out if the directions of eyes might have something to do with how much it looks like the real Bruce Lee. I did not quite get it like in the screen shot of the real Bruce because the head needed to be tilted a little bit more to the right (figure's point of view) and as I only had a small image to work on - but instead of looking to the left, I got the eyes staring straight forward.

What do you guys think - does it work or not ?

Btw, is the possibility to repaint the eyes - would that be too hard task ?

Yeah, it works. I wouldve MUCH prefered the eyes looking forward.

Anything to make it more screen accurate would be better :D I'm curious about this alternative smiley we're reading about. I welcome improvements to figures, but it stings the early adopters a little bit. If the eyes are painted straight & slightly looking up to be more screen accurate on the new smileys, then I would say those smileys would be better :D

Actually, I'm not sure if all future smileys will get this, or if it is only part of another exclusive version :dunno
