What do you think folks, for someone like me who does not have any inclination to pose him in a dynamic ways, and would just like to keep him in a neutral state with his track suit half off, like in the protos, do you think I'll have rubber tearing issues, as well?

That's a mighty expensive statue!

It depends a lot on what sort of rubber they use, what sort of climate you're in, whether your display is sealed from dust etc.... but I have King Leo doing pretty much what you describe (ie nothing) and after one year he is still minty fresh.

...but as Nam said, there's a reason HT don't make seamless rubber bodies anymore

As nice as they look, there'll come a time when they rot. It's inevitable, regardless of displaying conditions. I'm actually surprised EB's even going this route given the history of rubber bodies from Dragon, 21st and HT.

Yeh, me too. I wonder how HT are thinking about this... on the one hand EB have released 3 GoD's (including the 'behind the scenes' version). Or did they do two versions before the Nokia version, bringing the total to 4? Regardless, that's a lot of GoD, and do HT want to bring out yet another one?

On the other hand, shouldn't HT give us their take on this iconic Lee film?

I hope they do, but somehow it just seems too obvious a move for HT, especially after their left-field MIS version/s. Fingers crossed

Truth be told, I hate the film GOD, stated why on another thread, and quite frankly, it's garbage IMO. The word 'iconic' also gets thrown around way too much to describe looks, characters and other movie musings on this board as well. But with Lee, and that yellow suit, it would be nice if HT gives their take on a look that many BL fans are endeared with.

I don't think Hot Toys are planning more. They specifically stated they were planning three. And three is what they've now announced. I think its also to do with having too many other projects lined up. They can't do everything at once!

Their fans may riot if they don't get to work on Indy and Superman soon...

For those that just need a yellow suit, the ones on ebay look fine.
I've owned an Enterbay GoD figure and also used a custom ebay suit on the Enterbay EtD figure ....really there is not much difference at all.

And you can pick up the nicer Enterbay yellow sneakers on ebay as well.

Although I've noticed for the first time in years, ebay sellers stock of yellow suits and sneakers are getting wiped out....me thinks there are a LOT of HT EtD DX owners buying up!

Where did HT mention they were ONLY doing three Bruce Lee figures? Point me to that quote, or can you copy and paste the actual statement.

If that's the case, then, I guess this may be my only option and just hope he does not tear in my static pose.

Or, somehow, someone will sell their suit or we get a customizer that can tailor one for one of the Bruce Lee bodies that will be coming out for HT.

Great alternative for the non-BD head and Ex bod. Plus the generic suit doesn't have the staining issues the EB has.

Bummer, not that I could care much though 'cause I always thought the customs looked cheap - like the material used was too shiny and too coarse - not to mention the moulded shoes/laces. But SAB has had both in hand and says they are very similar, so maybe I'm missing out.

Yeh, there might be a few suits about, but the set only comes with one set of shoes
