there isn't nothing to compare with the black label sculpt....

How can you be unhappy with that? Looks amazing as a BD Game of Death look.

No SAB, that is the pre-view before this set was released. I have seen some other photos of the 3rd. head and I am worrying that it is really not good, so do not get your hopes up....

It's a pity Bill won't release just the headsculpt for all those who got sold short on the full set's version.

I thought it had now been confirmed that the 3rd sculpt was the BL-1 sculpt with battle damaged paint apps? No?
That ebay seller has multiples for sale claiming its official.

& yeah, I think it's basically a battle damaged 'Black Label' sculpt. Not that stellar sculpt shown there. I'd be curious to see if some talented painter could repaint the 'Black Label' sculpt to get a better likeness. More defined eyebrows & maybe slightly bigger irises might help.

Hey Lejuan, according to Guo Bei Bill produced 300 + 150. Natalie said that those who bought the set between the 31. May and 6. June will get the 3rd. head, but I think that will only be for those in Hong Kong....

I do not know who the eBay seller is, and I do not know how or why he got it - or if it is in fact the "official 3rd. head". To me - from the photos I have seen - it does look like the same as the BL-1, but it the paint job looks really bad...

I really meant to say that the BL statue head sculpt should be offered for separate sale - especially if the fabled '3rd head' is not as good. I dunno, I'm kind of getting sick of Enterbay's drama. I'm over their silly slogans and drawn out teasers and poor QC and slow CS.

If Shannon hadn't signed exclusive BL likeness rights over to them they'd be dead and buried by now; Arnie Kim would probably still be with HT and we'd be getting a suite of modern, awesome Bruce Lee figures.

Maybe he's freelancing then. I don't remember him in those HT team member pics posted on Facebook earlier in the year. So maybe it's true.

About a month ago I heard that too, on the DC board... It was in a post by you, heh.

I did some searching at the time and couldn't see any mention of it anywhere. How long's it been since his last announced sculpt though? Maybe knowing that would help, compare it to how often we see work from other HT staff sculptors.

If it was Superman, that's over a year passed.

Arnie Kim is a magnificent sculptor The real passion of Arnie is Bruce lee..now enterbay has bought the copyright for the likeness of Bruce Lee from shannon...try to think...Hot toys has very good sculptor until now arnie has done an awful indy sculpt...maybe he can't fly so high with Hot toys..

I could be super very happy with a sculpt and paint like this but unfortunaly this is not the case...
the 3d head will be the Blaclk label sculpt with a pathetic paint...
maybe in other words...useless..
I really hope not...because for this mess I could to close my doors to enterbay...
someone here has said the hair on the Black label sculpt are pretty accurate for a god figure...specially for the higher floor on the pagoda...
look at my avatar that is last floor of the pagoda scene..i can't reach to see long hair at all...

I think he was having trouble sculpting for PERS. The CR Superman sculpt he did was stellar, but it was initially slated for the DX treatment. Word is, and I could also have heard this from myself - he argued for a straight MMS release because he couldn't do it justice with PERS.

He also had a bit of trouble with the WoD sculpt he did for EB. I've got his Bean sculpt and I love it. I hope he's still around somewhere doing something... maybe he just took a holiday? A sweet, year long holiday.

I bumped an old Kim topic to carry on that talk, if anyone cares. I don't think there's much else to say but maybe someone will pop up with insider information or at least the ability to ask Kim himself and then maybe we have an answer.

hair looks fine to me shadow.perhaps we all see bruce differently.
